we were in san francisco, deep in the bowels of chinatown, and with her 3rd year chinese we were ordering items ON the menu... but the waiter refused to deliver some of her choices. in his perfect english (i'm sure the only word he knew) he was all NO! NO! NO! he was protecting us (i love you, chinese waiter man.)
