Todd is a good guy and a good player. You can't overplay your hand when you are dealing with people new to this experience. A lie here, a lie there. It could cost you the game. Being a fan of the show, it's actually harder to predict how some of these people take bad news. Watch out for that smiling face behind you, she may actually seem smarter to them than you. She's not, but the smirking and lying could cost you a million dollars.

Todd's story is gradual in this season. So far, so good.

Yep. There are people who you can backstab and will chalk it up to the game, and there are those that will hold it against you for the rest of your life. Rational/Logical v. Emotional. No one strategy is good for every situation. You need to adapt your strategy based on your opposition.

I really hope this stupid spoiler is WRONG that Amanda won.

Todd deserves 100x more than that boring bitch.

How funny that everyone seems to trust Todd at this point. Leslie gave her clue to Todd, she's gone. Dave gave his to Todd, he's gone. Todd doesn't even have to fulfill his promise. I think it's a good thing for Todd's part that Dave's gone.

Isn't Amanda also a fan of the show?

If Todd lies to people, then Amanda will also be lying to them, although she may not be the one who directly lies. She might end up winning because she hides in the background, not because she's smarter, but because she is someone the jury can condescend to and feel better about losing to. Other people do the work while she is seen as that beauty queen in the background. It's what happened with Danni, although at least Danni had to fight to get to the F2.

I guess the mistake of the people in the game was to even let Amanda get to F3, because she is such a non threatening choice as a winner.

I guess, but that depends on the jury. Many juries have punished players for sitting in the background and letting other people do all the work. If Amanda wins then either she just fits the right stereotypes for the jury (young female beauty queen) or, hopefully, she manages to do something strategically. If she does I hope we can see it in the edit.

I think PG and Denise would vote based on who they considered the best player.

if amanda wins and she continues not to get a lot of air time, then the season will be about how todd didn't win just like how it was, when danni won and it was basically how stephanie didn't win. if this jury is upset at being backstabbed, they will vote for the person they see as being responisble for it the least. which would explain with amanda winning, and in probably a combination that courtney not being too well liked with the jury. the same reason amber won over boston rob, the jury was less angry with amber.

If Amanda's bio hadn't said she was a beauty queen, would you still be saying she was getting a beauty queen edit? She's contributed around camp, rocked in challenges, has been shown to be plotting with Todd and Aaron and a lot of you still think she's useless fluff just because she won a beauty contest or two?

She IS useless fluff. All we've seen from her is losing her top in a challenge and plotting with Todd after saying she knows he's devious, basically setting herself up to be used by Todd. Other than that, there isn't much to her. Just another boring player.

I believe she had the winning shot last night in the immunity challenge, rocked (unlike courtney) in the cutting disks to solve the puzzle challenge, and had one of the scores in the contest where she lost her top (or were you so mesmerized by the pixels that you didn't notice that?).

I'm not RVS, but I think it's because Denise won't be winning the game, so in effect it doesn't matter if she is what he considers a boring player.
