What about different types of fast food restaurants like Raising Caine's? Raising Caine's is mainly a Louisiana (??) thing but one sprang up overnight down a couple blocks from here. My city has a lot of ethnic food and very little American food. I avoid all the ethnic places except the Greek places. They're the only ones who can assure me that the chicken they serve is not actually cat or dog.

If you order the chicken you get half a chicken, if you order the Chicken Fried Steak you get 16 ounces. Comes with all the side orders for $8 a person.

When he's not at a fair/festival he sets up in the parking lot of a tire dealership. Best gyros ever and his wife makes fresh batches of baklava almost every night. He flirts with all the women and makes fun of the people who don't pronounce it "yeer-ro".

We have this great little local Italian hidden gem in our area called Olive Garden. I hate spaghetti, but at the Olive Garden, it's not like spaghetti, or even real food at all!

This cannot happen in Canada unless you are A) dining Chinese or B) dining immediately after smoking hash.

We went to one in Wisconsin recently and I was all ready for a steak and they didn't do that up there. That sucked.
