I was hoping Sixwire would take this but I am happy from the Children of the Corn Brothers. I am just glad Denver Orchestra did not win. I still get moist over
the guitaris from Sixwire

Clark Bros win was no surprise to me, especially when I heard that they were connected to Carrie Underwood prior to the show. They will sell country records,
and have a small chance of crossover to pop.. hey if Carrie can have pop hits with very very country styled songs, these guys could too.

Connected to Carrie Underwood? Then that means they were connected to 19 prior to the show. That stinks!

I really think the producers of these shows have a band they want to promote, and create a show for them to "win" just to get them publicity they
wouldn't already have. Who would care about The Clark Bros without this show?
Anyway, I favored Tres Bien, thought they were the freshest. The Likes of You had talent, just not enough charisma. Dot dot dot was a spirited throw-back. Having said all that, I'm still relieved that Clark Bros "won" over that mediocre has-been band (sorry, people) who are so boring I can't even remember their name. 12-String? |

No surprise but not disappointed. Clark Brothers are very talented. Thought them and Six Wire were the two that should be there technically speaking even
though I enjoyed some others. Not a bad show and pretty happy with the win.

You guys didn't know that Ashley Clark (the lead singer) played fiddle in Carrie Underwood's band and was featured on her CD(s?). I believe he was
featured in her I'll Stand By You music video. He also performed right along side her on several tv appearances, the major one being on idol:

Fuck! No, I never noticed that. And I have no idea why learning this fact pisses me off, but it does.
I hated Carrie Underwood even before she ruined a perfectly good Pretenders song. That second video is really touching by the way. A key line of that song is 'And I'll never desert you'. If anyone can show me where she has visited those kids SINCE that Idol charity gig, I will get over my hatred for her quick and gain some respect for her. If she has never been back since, I hate her even more. |

I'm beyond pissed. The whole show was a farce. Sheila E. was crying like she didn't know already they won. Fuck. Now I can see that they only
bitched at The Clarks about not having more members just so they had something to bitch at them about & for good TV. They let them add a drummer &
guitar player one week then the bitching stopped. And looking back on it, the losers didn't seem terribly upset they lost. They obviously knew The Clarks
had it in the bag.
I still like The Clarks but I hate being fucked with. |

I still like the Clarks too.
I saw it as no one was that upset when leaving because they had gotten so close with the other bands and were happy for them. That's why the last band to perform always dedicated the performance to the eliminated band, I thought. |

ImCrushingYourHead wrote: The Clark Brothers won because they got the most votes! They were the most popular. They'll be very successful because they have real talent. Ashley
Clark isn't on Carrie's label...he just guests with her band on tour.

They all knew the CB won, because they were heads and shoulders above everyone else. That said, it was nice seeing all the bands perform again on the finale.
It made me wish that Tres Bien and Dot Dot Dot had stayed longer and that LOD and DMHO should have gone long before them. I might even put them above Sixwire
because they have more of an edge and youthfulness.
Northmont still sucks, I don't know why they like that singer so much - they must feel guilty about the Kiwi shunning his family in favor of being in this second rate band. Also, don't like the name. Likes of You, I never heard perform before because I missed the show they were on. They have more talent than Northmont and alot of the bands that made it through. This show shouldn't be on Friday nights, it misses its target demographic and that's how DMHO, LOD and Sixwire got so far. The only people watching were old folks and little kids. |

I absolutely loved seeing the bands come back and perform together. They were all amazing and it was good to see Tres Bien and Dot Dot Dot again especially.
So one of the Clark Brothers performed with Carrie? I wouldn't say it was a fix since they got the most votes and that fact was never advertised. I'm guessing it has to do with them knowing people who could get them in the door for the competition in the first place. |

Everyone keeps saying that The Clarks got the most votes. How do we know that? I've NEVER trusted the voting systems used on these shows.

Meh, Clark bros winning is no less annoying than Dick winning Big Brother, or Aras winning Survivor. With the incestuous relationships these shows have, it
almost seems like we have the rigged quiz shows of the 50's back again.

Oh puleez. I'm sick of hearing about incest. BB had nothing to do with incest & neither did Survivor or this show. It's OK you didn't like
Dick but cut the incest crap. It's repetative & sounds ignorant.

Yep, and it shows. A lot of the tv audience is wise to their tricks now, especially anything produced by 19. There's still plenty of not so "quick on the draw types" who think it's all real. I like Sixwire, that's who I will buy. |

Um, I don't think Heliox meant incest literally. They're talking about the fact that these shows are inbred, in that they reward people they're
already connected with. Kinda like how those guys on the first Last Comic Standing were represented by someone producing the show.

Oh. If that's the case I'm sorry. It's just that on the Big Brother 8 forum here incest is brought up continuously in regards to Dick & his
daughter Daniele.

I wished Rocket had come back and done "Christmas Wrapping." I wished Franklin Bridge had come back and done ... something. |

Whereas I am extremely thankful that neither of those bands came back. I'm perfectly happy with never seeing any of them again.
