The gameplay action is very slow and boring. I have a feeling it may become a little more difficult to win after a few weeks.

After you get over the initial shock that the dollar amounts can be very large, it's not much fun to watch the show. Drew Carey is very talented and in certain venues, he can be great. But this isn't one of them. His high-pitched laugh gets on the nerves real quick. I watched the first show but only 10 minutes of the second and haven't watched it since. There's just no further fun for me in watching any more.

I'd guess that most all of the people who get to the $100K level will try for the million and will miss and go home with $10K. If they can keep a one-hour network TV show on the air and pay the contestents an average of about $20K per show, that is a real great deal for the producers. Even if, every week, they have to pay one or two people a million dollars, it's still a great value for the producers. The network and the producers make a huge profit under those circumstances.

I don't think the show will last very long. But that's what I thought about "Deal or No Deal" and I was wrong about that. Is that still on the air? Or is it semi-retired?

I'd love to appear on this show. I mean, who wouldn't? It's dead easy to win $10K. Then you have to make the choice to try for $100K. Even if you miss the $100K question, you still go home with $1K (and that's not bad, huh?). I guess it depends on whether $10K is a serious amount of money in your life. It's not too hard to win $100K but it's no cakewalk either. If you do win the $100K, the choice is whether or not to try for the $1 million. If you miss, you go home with $10K. I guess that decision would depend on whether you can retire on $100K. If you can, you might as well grab it. Even if you miss the $1 million question, you still go home with $10K and so how can you quibble with that? This show is like a dream come true - almost too good to be true.

Too good to be true? Hmmm ... I won't be surprised to see the headlines one morning that the producers or CBS execs associated with this show have been arrested and going to jail. After all, they say that if something seems too good to be true, it usually is.

Heh Heh! Well, I hope you are right, Sofa - and there's a real good chance of that. You would figure that you should be able to tell by the body language the two girls have been showing from Wed around midnight (when they came back to the BB house) until next Tuesday. But they don't seem to be acting too differently. They would be going nuts if one of them won some serious money (even $10K) and the other one didn't win a penny. They don't like each other much as it stands. If one of them beat the other one out of the money and then went on to win $10K(or more), the loser would just go nuts and would be at the winner's throat.

BTW, Amber looked ridiculous on the show. I'll be recording this thing for sure. Amber looked like she was wearing an outfit that was 40 years old or something. Amazing!
