While SS did indeed post a rather "colorful" excuse as to why the board was locked up, I must nevertheless question the intelligence (or lack thereof) of his/her actions.
Do you realize that your site is based upon fan loyalty and traffic? If no one visits you, and the advertising $'s aren't there, then what happens? Will the "magical bandwidth fairy" (who bears a striking resemblance to Sammy Davis Jr.) come down and grant you unlimited access?

After careful observation of your post, I couldn't help but notice a few inconsistencies...

"Time-out"? This was not a "time-out" in any sense of the word! You basically shut every person out, guilty or innocent, because of the actions of a minority! I graduated kindergarten with honors tovarisch...I do not do "time-outs" any longer! Granted these boards are not a democracy, but why punish so many loyal fans just to prove one self-serving point?

Thanks you for stating the obvious! I was certain that this was a board about "Chinese Algebra and its relation to the male genitalia". I salute you for pointing out the error of my ways! So...your basis for banning is:
1) Anyone who posts off-topic (If that is the case, then there shouldn't be a single person allowed on the board! I cannot think of anyone who has NEVER posted off-topic on ANY of the boards!)
2) Anyone who offends your delicate sensibilities/has the sack to speak up on their/others behalf.
3) Anyone whose nic begins with a vowel or a consonant.
"If you see that your post has been deleted, take that as an indicator that it was inappropriate. Please do not re-post it. If you continue to do so, you will not be welcomed back."
See above example for explanation of the "banning rules". It is mind-boggling that in a country that practices "free speech" we find ourselves oppressed in something as mundane as an internet message board. I am sure that @#%$ had this in mind when they registered you!

Rethink you standards...and check your belly for the proper amount of guts! Either apologize to all those you have offended, or rename the site to:
