I think this might be it. Survivor has reached the point of no return. The point where it's beyond hope. Caramoan was just dismall except for the 4 Malcolm's attempted coup episodes. I'm sure they had content but the editing was just completely unbalanced.
The pre season was terrible. Jeff kept going on about how this makes Phillipines look like do do. Although I adore Jeff other than Malcolm's three idols play this was a terrible season. I'll give Jeff the benefit of the doubt because I'm sure as the host he sees it differently than a viewer.
Then the cast comes out. The favorites looked pretty good until I came across the fact that they had 6 people from two seasons. Two seasons considered the two worst seasons ever. Not to mention two of those people were bloody Brandon Hantz and First boot Franqueefqua. Is that really the best you could do. Nobody likes either of them. Phillip was actually the only entertaining thing about that mess RI so I'll give him a pass. On the fans side it was actually well done except they cast 4 blondes (2 of them completely useless). What is the point of Hope and Allie. You couldn't find any asians, or black, or indian or latina girls that could be on the fans tribe? Has there ever been an Indian girl on Survivor?
The pre merge was disgusting. I was happy to see Franfailqua go first. But then it was Brandon vs Phillip and Shamar vs reason until both those guys left. The producers totally exploited the Brandon Hantz madness. They knew what they were doing when they brought him on. That episode was terrible. The pre merge showed 0 of my girl Brenda, or Erik being totally beta. Even I got sick of Phillip.
Finally the merge comes and they boot Corinne in a great episode. But they don't give her jury. This was the last time we ever saw Corinne's sexy self. She didn't say something to make Dawn explode at the FTC. SHe didn't tell Sherri to have her vocal chords removed. She didn't make Cochran say the mean junk he's been saying in confessionals.
Malcolm saves the next few episodes until he's gone. Somewhere around here Brenda breaks Purple Kelly's record.
They then have a double boot episode which was completely unneccassary since Erik dies two minutes into the last episode. Couldn't they move Brenda over to that episode and let Reynold and Andrea be voted out alone?
The loved one rewards was completely cruel to have it in viewing distance from Brenda and Dawn. But w.e.
Finaly the finale. That was just a mess. Cochran channells Ozzy's ghost and Eddie goes to make up the first hour and a half. Then at the FTC everyone including Probst takes turns sucking Cochran off. Until he eventually wins. He's not a bad winner by any means but this season was terrible.
Then at the reunion they ban Brandon from it. You guys asked him to play twice. The first time maybe you didn't know he was a nutter ... maybe. But the second time was unneccessary. Then you make big promotions for his disgusting boot episode. Then you ban him from the reunion. Even to a guy like me that's cold.
The pre jurors were told to sit in the audience. Were they even shown in the audience? We don't get to hear about Francescaasdfa failures. Shamar being a gentle monk in real life. Julia flirting with Cochran. Or COrinne shitting on Stealth R US. Nope instead we get 10 people on stage.
Jeff pretty much ignored them all except to gush over Malcolm (who I think needs to cut his hair at this point but he's still hot), Phillip, COchran. They make an awkward forced apology between Dawn and cyber-Brenda.
Instead of talking to the actual contestants we hear from Boston ROb who came to pedal his book. C'mon ROb it's been like 12 years get another job than reality tv. Some braces girl for no reason. Rudy for his semi homophobia. And Richard Hatch for no reason. Oh yeah and Eddies brother. We don't hear from Eddie but we do from his brother. O.o
The next season is probably the worst most shark jumping idea ever. I thought Jeff promised us one all new ppl season. But from my little birds I hear 27 is favorites vs family and all winners. Thats 6 returnee seasons in 4 years! and 7/9 seasons if the 28 rumors are true.
They don't even choose the favorites properly. At first it was looking good but they cut Cesternino, Bolton, Terry for Rupert, Monica Whopepper, and Colon!?!?
They didn't even choos them properly. The only reason to do this season would be with interesting people who had family visits. They got Kat. But no Nicole Cesternino! No Boston Powers?1?! No Reid DOnaldson?!?!
Rupert needs to stop. He needs to just stop. I'm tired of seeing him. He sucks at politics and Survivor and he'll always be a Hagrid wannabee.
I don't even know who Monica is. But they want to see her football playing husband. I don't want to see him.
