I kind of get the feeling that Brenda steps up for Dawn (after watching her 'Brenda the day after' video where she repeats that she understands that it is a game). Phillip might bash Dawn for fun.

Make the easy Eddie boot, and then come the next boot Dawn sits down Brenda and Erik (whichever one didn't win immunity) and explains that they're too well liked on the jury and didn't make any enemies and thus she can't beat them versus the jury. Instead Cochran played Dawn completely, got her to completely blindside and destroy her closest ally in the game pretty much for the lolz. Cochran won the game with the Brenda boot and how it went down.

I gather spoilers tell us it plays out otherwise, but dang! at this point the door sure is open for a couple of fluky Eddie or Erik immunities to get one of them to the finals. I think Cochran chose a riskier route than he realized. I guess invisiBrenda is the leading fan favorite choice at this point? That seems odd.

Dawn for whatever reason wanted to align with Cochran right from the start as seen in the first episode and yet later she keeps crying about how her game on SP was ruined by Cochran , how she put everything in cochran and killed her own chances so she's not making the same mistake again and now backstabs everyone else save for Cochran. It's kind of a warped logic.

To me she is more a willing accomplice to Cochran and his plans. Problem is, she is playing the heavy and letting Cochran keep his hands pretty clean. LOL What is most ironic is that she bonded so closely with Cochran to begin with after he ruined her game the first time. Go figure.

All of Dawn's "betrayals" had little to do with Cochran and more strategic motivation. The problem was that Dawn completely bungled jury management. Let's say that Dawn participated in four blindsides since the merge (Corinne, Michael, Andrea, Brenda). It made absolutely no sense for Dawn to join up with Corinne and Malcolm and the group of strong, likable males. Made much more sense to stick with the group that included two goats (Phillip, Sherri) and two people who seemed unlikely to win because they were so far UTR (Brenda, Erik) at the time. Where Dawn screwed up is she should never have given the Amigos the impression that she was with them, that made them predisposed to dislike her come FTC-time. And since they were already pro-guy to begin with, she probably wasn't going to ever get their votes over a male. Then she goes after Andrea. Not her fault. Andrea was coming after her and was a jury threat to boot. "Well, she could have picked Brenda over Cochran!" So what? She would have lost to Brenda. Her chances are better with Cochran and Sherri than Erik and Brenda. The simple fact is that Dawn was always going to have a tough time winning. What made Dawn such a strong player this season (the ability to create strong, emotional relationships with people) pretty much doomed her chances to ever actually win the game. To get to the F3, she was always going to have to leave a scorched earth. Brenda didn't want her there out of the goodness of her heart, she wanted Dawn there because she knew she could beat her. I think Dawn's chances of winning went out the window the second Phillip was idoled out.

We just saw Kim do that successfully, while winning challenges as well. I think it's not so much strong emotional relationships, but the nature of them.

Completely agree. That's why she'll probably lose. But another thing with is Dawn that she has a massive entitlement complex from having the six kids. She believes people will want to reward her for that when no one on the jury really cares that much about her kids. Dawn thinks she has a much better chance of winning that she does. That's why she gets paranoid.

I doubt she gained trust because she's weak, rather she knows how to play off people. They are always around her. People do not hang with someone because they see them as pathetic- that repels them. They do so because they sense a bond.

She's not saying "give me the money because I have six kids." She's saying "I had to do what I had to do because I have six kids and wanted to win."

People were getting fed up with having to assuage her "oh man, I know I'm going to be blindsided tonight, I just know it!" behavior when she's planning blindsides herself. (See: the Andrea secret scene at F8, followed by her blindsiding Andrea the next round.) It's just not a good combination. I don't think Dawn was intentionally causing the "babysitter" thing to happen out of any deliberate strategy or malice, but she's ended up inadvertently leveraging it against multiple people this season, and it does not come across well.

Eddie stumbles ass backwards into the final 4 and everyone realizes the jury is packed with his best friends. One immunity away from the win, "brain" beats "brawn" (because Eddie has been as successful in individual challenges as Sherri has). Eddie goes home and Cochran boasts one last time about how he is the challenge king of Caramoan. Sherri is as much a nonfactor at FTC as she's been in the show since the merge. Zero votes and some bashing from her archnemeses, Reynold and Eddie, but is otherwise largely ignored. Dawn is ripped a new one by the jury for being so needy and backstabbing all the people that helped her deal with it. Perhaps Erik will vote for her because his votes have never made any sense. I am guessing Brenda will get the last question to put the icing on the "Dawn loses" cake. Cochran wins with 7 or 8 votes. Yawn.

Think of what this season would be without Dawn: • Corrine flips people and wins easily. • People get suckered into the "Three Amigos" alliance and Malcolm walks off in a cake walk. • Phillip gets tossed early, some random Knob wins. • Andrea felates Phillip into an easy win. • Brenda gets an easy win for being nice and doing nothing except getting rid of Cochran. Dawn and Cochran were Phillip's TWO GOATS. Only Cochran was his wannabe Fox replacement and Dawn was Cochran's Bear. OBVIOUSLY, Phillip's best choice for the F4 were Cochran and Dawn. Dawn consistently ratted any traitors of Stealth R Us to Phillip and any traitors to Cochran to him. At great expense to herself. Rain on Dawn if you want to, but neither would have gotten as far if Dawn hadn't been there. If you're a fan of Cochran, you have to give dawn the credit for his WIN, because there is no way he could have if she wasn't there.

Malcom calling him the "fun police" was spot on. Season immediately loosened up strategy-wise once he was out of the picture.
