Todd Watchdog Report - Episode #10
Not all that much changed for Todd this episode, but there were a few moments where stuff he did stuck out as interesting to me, first my notes.
-(recap) which made Todd question her loyalty to the FL alliance
-Todd confessional, when the 3 of them left the 4 of them back at camp were like oh this is nice, we could keep it this way just the 4 of us, and there was no
arguing.
-Todd says they're in the top 7, soon to be top 4, Amanda says Yeah.
-Todd says of course when Denise asks if everything is still cool with them.
-Todd confessional, PG is annoying as hell, and she goes to Denise and says we should vote out Todd, and I'm thinking, bitch you expect anybody to get up
on your side, great job because now I hate you, thank you.
-Todd's celebration at the IC is shown as he scores 3
-Todd says he just worries about letting Erik & PG get anywhere near it (the end of the game) since they are the fighters,
-Todd says she's won 2 in a row, Todd says I guess if there was ever a time to do it, it would be now.
-Todd says to group of FL women he will do whatever the group is most comfortable with doing, I don't care what that is.
-Todd says we play up that we're voting PG out, and vote for him.
-Says it would be him going home if James uses an idol.
-Todd confessional, there's a chance that James could pull out the idol and all of their votes for him could go away, so they just have to continue to
convince him that they're voting for PG, basically they lie to his face, which hurts really bad especially since he likes the guy, but he likes a million
dollars to.
-Jeff asks Todd how important trust is. Todd says trust is huge, he'd say probably a 10, if you don't have that necklace around your neck then what
else can you do, Jeff says well the opposite would be not trust. Todd says yeah I mean it's kind of like keep your friends close and your enemies closer
-Todd votes James, says he hopes this works, if not then he's scared for his life.
There was one thing that was shown that while little, and just a few seconds long, just kind of jumped out to me as a sign of maybe Todd's a distraction who's met to get entertaining airtime that goes with his character. It was his little celebration at the immunity challenge after scoring 3 points on his last shot, it just reminded of how I've been thinking that Todd's a distraction from all the little extra stuff they show about him that could have easily been left out.
Also this episode was certainly a turn around from Todd wanting to get rid of James at the F9, to him looking kind of hesitant to get rid of him this episode. It really makes me wonder just what we're not seeing here. Either way though, that's certainly not the portrayal I'd be expecting from a winner... but then again, remember that Aras had almost nothing to do with the crucial 3-2-1 vote (though he was sent to EI that episode I think).
Well onto the ratings I gave Todd, I had a hard time with settling on the MOR. He really wasn't CPish at all, but at the same time he really wasn't all that OTT either this episode, although I thought it was a better fit then CP. But still, I settled on MOR from that, and gave him an M for tone, because he said some N things, but I don't think the editors were really trying to get us to root for one outcome over the other this episode.
Overall I'm still just not seeing a Todd win, though I do admit he has some very tempting content scattered throughout the
season, but I think it's too much content overall, and too often he's been the main focus.
