Compare his edit to Cindy's in the same season. Does anyone even remember why she got CPP ratings in Episodes 6 and 8? What exactly did she do that warranted those ratings? Bet most of us will have a hard time remembering on the spot.
Oh, I totally remember why she did in ep8 - she went on and on about how Brandon was a great guy who should stay over Jamie, but voted Brandon out anyway. I think Rafe was in the same boat. But yeah, ep 6 is a stumper.
Amanda - MOR3. The Jaime confessional could merit CP if it were explored more. But even if she's a crucial person when it comes to strategy, Amanda's always just...there for me. (Excepting when her top falls off during challenges, in which case I love her)
Courtney - OTTN3. Yeah, I'll give her the OTT, mainly for the scene at the beginning complaining to Todd and Amanda that they didn't stick up for her. I know everyone's accusing her fans of being somewhat biased, but I think we all kind of accept that she's a negative character for most viewers. But Chris had his detractors too...
Denise - UTR1. I agree with GF here, I do have some vague recollection of Denise being in the episode. But wow, how can someone will a mullet be the biggest dud of the season?
Erik - UTR1. Nice guy. Too bad he's almost certainly gone this week.
Frosti - MOR2. He was an extension of storylines, but I think he was featured enough to be MOR. The immunity win helps him stand out too.
James - OTTM4. See, I actually thought the laughing and stuff was funny, especially considering what happened two weeks ago. At least, it was funny the first time. Then it just became, "Ok James, we get it, she has a fake idol..." Definitely OTT/one-note.
Jean-Robert - MORN3. Please tell me I'm not the only one who thought he was going to threaten to kill Todd if he betrayed him.
Peih-Gee - CP4. Now this is a crafted edit. We got some insight/doubt, and even though she was always on the wrong side of things, she wasn't made out to look stupid *cough*Jaime*cough*
Todd - CPN4. You guys seriously think this episode ruined his chances? He needed doubt and he got it! Still the top candidate for me. Peih-Gee's a close second, but Todd's the guy to beat still.
JAIME DUGAN
OTTM4
As predicted, Jaime's storyline centered around the hidden idol right up to the end. There's no doubt that they tried to make her look like an idiot, and they certainly succeeded. But idiocy itself doesn't merit a negative rating, and I think in some ways her cluelessness was shown as charming. You knew that she was about to completely screw up, and you didn't feel bad for her, but you didn't maliciously dislike her either. I think most viewers would have cheered at this had it happened to Courtney or JR, but even with a positive character like James, we'd have to laugh. So I can't go full-out negative here, although neutral doesn't fit either.
