FEI LONG
Amanda - UTR1. Still not quite as blown away as most people seem to be. There certainly doesn't seem to be any reason for her to leave before the endgame, but I don't know that she's quite as strong a candidate as everyone's hyping her up to be.
Courtney - UTR1. In a lot of ways, I think she's INV. But in all honesty, her edit wasn't really any less than Yul's was in his near-INV episode. Back then (and even now), I feel like people argued for UTR1 so much because he was such a strong winner candidate. I voted INV there, but I'll be a hypocrite because I don't think Courtney should be tossed aside from the winner pool this easily. Yes, she's my favorite, but I think I'm being pretty objective here.
Denise - MOR2. I don't really know if there was much tone here--she had minor hints of P at the very beginning talking about James and minor hints of N talking to JR so overall, I suppose it'd be a minor mixed tone. I wouldn't be opposed to M or possibly P, but N is out of the question.
Frosti - CPP3. I think GF made a great point here--it was a complex situation, which doesn't always mean complex edit, but we heard a little bit from Frosti about his plans to hopefully survive a few more rounds. MOR certainly fits just as well too, but he did stand out and it wasn't merely because he was switched.
Jean-Robert - MORN3. The mixed ratings are surprising me--I can't really find anything positive about him, unless maybe there's an underdog focus. It certainly was nowhere near as negative as his first three episodes but there wasn't enough of a positive slant to negate the negative SPV.
Sherea - CP3. Again, GF explained it perfectly. I think partially because of her edit last week, and maybe because she just didn't seem as enthusiastic as Frosti, but she wasn't positive like he was, but otherwise the edit was similar.
ZHAN HU
Aaron - MOR4. I think his explanation of why he was voting James was more to make his blindside have more impact than to explain where his head was. CP was definitely a consideration but I went with MOR since most of it felt like stuff that had to be shown.
Erik - MORP3. I went back and forth with MOR or CP here--the last half was definitely CP but I think the early flirting with Jaime moves him down a notch to MOR. He seemed diplomatic and open to the switch, and the contrast between him and Jaime and Peih-Gee was highlighted.
James - OTTP4. Definitely a one-note edit. His offer to quit could've been presented negatively (I was waiting for an eerie gong after he said it) but they made him seem honorable.
Peih-Gee - MORN4. It's obvious she's gonna get a CP here, but hear me out--she came up with the idea to throw the challenge and explained the reasoning at different times. That's complex. But the idiotic assumption that Zhan Hu was gaining two members, multiple shots of her screwing up the puzzle, "I'm good at Sudoku!" and the giggling with Jaime? OTT. It really seemed like they didn't know where to go with her edit, were they trying to make her seem smart, idiotic, or just focus on her because she played an instrumental role in the proceedings? I think it was catered to, but parts of it were too one-note for CP.

Like Erik, Jaime's rating (which otherwise would've been OTT) becomes MOR thanks to their flirting scene at the beginning. One thing that interested me was the lack of concentration on her telling Erik that there's a hidden idol--if one of them ended up finding it, I think it would've gotten more focus. But everything post-switch was flat-out negative, and completely negates any positivity of the cute scene with Erik. While Peih-Gee got some flack for the challenge throwing, Jaime was the one who got the brunt of it, and her inability to throw the challenge with a straight face was emphasized quite a bit. The early scene keeps her from OTTN, but this was definitely a negative edit.
