Finally Todd gets something other then a CP, he was for the most part in the background this episode, except for his HII clue scene, that was just too memorable to give him an UTR, and he said too much there to give him a 2. Here's my notes on what Todd did this episode.
-Said some stuff when they talked about treemail
-Todd says JR is full of surprises, he went off and communicated with them and could tell what they wanted
-Dave is a nutcase, but he'll do his best to be nice to him.
-Says yes to Dave's question about turnabout.
-Tells Dave if he gets kidnapped he'll give Dave the clue.
-Reads the clues.
-Feels very lucky that Leslie gave him the first clue, and Dave gave him the next two. Has been keeping his eyes open for something that could be the HII,
since that could be the ticket to a million dollars.
I might have missed a thing or two he said that wasn't related to strategy, but I probably didn't think it was that
important if I forgot to take notes of it. He had a bit of minor narration and minor comments on treemail, as well as some strategy comments relating to how he
got the HII. We saw Todd say that he didn't like Dave but that he would try his best to be nice to him anyway, and we immediately saw it pay off, as they
both started to walk off together, and Dave said he can trust Todd, and gave him the HII clue. After the scene was over Todd got a confessional talking about
getting the HII clue and looking for it, and then his time in the episode was over.
The scene of him getting the clue from Dave kind of reaffirmed the earlier editing that Todd is good at getting others to trust him, and that he's still quite devious. We saw once again someone trust Todd, and Todd imply that he didn't want that person around. Just like Leslie soon got voted out after trusting Todd, Dave got voted out after trusting Todd, although Todd didn't really have a say in voting Dave out. Still, it's an interesting pattern, people who trust Todd and give him HII clues have gotten voted out, it may just be a coincidence, but they didn't have to show us that Leslie and Dave trusted Todd before they got voted out.
My thoughts on his winner chances haven't changed much since last week, he needs to cool down NOW and go UTR.
