That's why they brought back who they brought back. They don't need to make the returnees balanced because the newbies are there too. Mixing the tribes makes complete sense with these people.

I don't get the appeal of Cochran considering how idiotic his game was. I don't think joining a six person alliance and becoming number 7 makes someone memorable. I also don't buy his so called bullying excuse because they had many chances to boot Cochran and didn't.

I'd say there are a LOT of Cochran fans considering he came in second for fan favorite after Ozzy. Nobody else's name was mentioned as a contender after Ozzy.

It shouldn't be that hard to find people with some personality and intelligence. The female returnees for S26 aren't that bad, though I agree with the people who think Stephanie Valencia deserves a spot over one of the other RI girls and Holly definitely deserved Dawn's spot. It's clear the casting agenda with the returnees is attractive women and cartoon character men. I don't have any problem with Phillip/Cochran, their inclusion is understandable, but Brandon Hantz? Didn't they edit around him quitting the show? He wasn't entertaining (in fact he was downright creepy) on SP, he didn't play to win, and he is still too young to have learned anything from his first experience. If I'm Brenda/Andrea/Corinne I want this kid out of the game the first TC. Why even waste a spot on him? Bring back Shane or Kenny or Jim Rice.

Which is why I think the tribes will be Mixed with New/Vet cast members. I mean Dawn/Cochran/Brandon on the same tribe? Phillip/Andrea/Fran on the same tribe? Also Kenny was a better "NerdGameboy" type survivor player than Cochran.

Jeff Probst IS Cochrans only fan...or at least the only one that even matters. Cochran is on this "bullying" thing that never even happened, Ozzy, Keith, Jim, Dawn and Whitney kept Cochran around for longer than they had to and he would have been in the final 3 with Dawn and Jim had he not been so fucking stupid. He has No fucking chance of ever winning this game, and this season he has no chance of even making the merge, such a waste of space...not only in this game but in life in general.

Posts: 221 05/29/12 03:09 PM Registered User More Recent Posts	Same with Brandon Hantz.Brandon Hantz and Russell Hantz are favorites of Probst which is why I guess Brandon is on 26.It's kinda dumb to bring him on and then a few seasons later they'll probably bring him back and Russell again for a returning player season much like they did with Rob vs Russell.It's stupid how every season now they have to bring up Russell's name like he's some sort of Survivor god.

Brenda, Andrea, Brandon and Philip are all very likely. Francesca is up in the air. Erik has been said to NOT be on.

He's just not confirmed. Didn't multiple sources say they think he's on - they're just not positive? He doesn't have much of an online presence so he's a bit harder to track than the others.

They may never get another chance to bring back Dawn, Corinne, Francesca, Andrea etc. So they want to give them their 2nd chance now before they fade away like Survivors from the show's past.

Largely frustrating expected cast,but hopefully the newbies can really shine against the 'stars' this time.I think Dawn has a good chance she's just as benign and as strong,and as smart as she needs to be.
