It's not even funny anymore. That makeup artist brought out her true essence. I don't feel she improved much on it. And Brooks gives me full on heebie jeebies. As well as Robin Antin's face.

And her face - she has the same pox whatever that Vicki has. And she's a lot younger. She's going to look worse than Vicki at 50.

Posts: 3983 04/25/12 12:57 PM Registered User Reply Quote More Recent Posts	I've found myself enjoying the last couple of episodes, the pleasant ones with glamping, very little snark, very little Tamara and everyone getting along. It's unsettling. In the convo where Alexis and Jim are discussing getting a coach and Jim pulling his cheuvenism (sp?) by drilling her role as he sees it into her, I believe we're actually watching her mind turn and she's handling him her own way. She tells him what he wants to hear, with no intention of doing it his way. I never realized how similar we were. As I said, unsettling.

Posts: 7372 04/25/12 02:19 PM Registered User Reply Quote More Recent Posts	I get the impression, and I could be wrong, that Alexis realizes how controlling Jim is because it seems to me she's always trying to cover for him. The discussion about renting vs. buying, where Alexis tries in vain to justify what appears to be Jim's decision that it makes sense to have a rental payment that is more than the mortgage payment would be. Then that disucssion about her real ring being in a safe while she wears a fake reproduction. You know that is Jim's idea as well. Probably because he hocked the real ring, or maybe there never was a real ring. Or, assuming there is a real ring in a safe somewhere, maybe Jim really is afraid Alexis would lose it if she wore it. But, you know, "it's in God's hands," so all is well with Alexis' life.
