But Pete forced that au pair to have sex too. It may not have been as violent as Greg's rape of Joan but it was still against her will.

He won't, of course, because who is Don Draper if he's not drinking, smoking, and screwing anything in a skirt? I was more disturbed at the fact that in his dreams he could be that violent toward a woman who gave him trouble.

If everyone recalls, when Don confronted is first wife about her being so good, pure, and "saintly" he ABSOLUTELY moved in close, and was about to unload on her. Don did not go so far as to hit her, but it was evident that one wrong move, and she would have gotten it. I'm not someone to condone hitting women, but back then, it was more widely done and women knew it could happen. Don absolutely has a violent side and truthfully, some women find that a major turn on to some point. For example - take the Tuesday Weld character in the movie "Once Upon A Time In America": bent over the desk, skirt shoved up, and the Robert DeNiro character behind her. She's getting hard and deep, and all the while, begging for him to beat her. Some women like it rough, and for them, that's their turn on! Don's character is def up some hard, kinky sex and I hope to see him get into it (I'd love to bottom for him any day)
