Troy was never going to get on board with Mike, they didn't like each other. So basically the only chance the guys had last episode was making use of Troy's idol.

I think they showed the scene with Troy and Kim re the lie about Mike to fulfill the promo jargon that a "major player gets played". ...It's possible Michael was talking to her about getting Troy and we weren't shown it.

Mikes exit interviews indicate the men were concerned with the women's numbers, yet they still went along with it twice. Yup no love loss between Troy and Michael.

yep and that is why troy won't win if you want to win you have to put up with people you don't like. look at gerggzan he could probly start fealing up the women and telling them about there bad boob jobs an the women can't get rid of him.

Reality: TV World[Kim Spradlin] really seems to be running the show out there, based on what we've seen. Was that your take while you were out there and what was your general impression of Kim?

Michael Jefferson: Kim was like the female version of me I would say. She's not -- I don't really think she's running the shots. She knows when to speak up and when to call people down. She's just kind of a good player. She's definitely not forcing people out there. She's just bringing to light things that should happen.

Gee he might just vote for her if she makes F3. It doesn't sound like she wants to tip any boats either. ...Like keeping her options open as long as she can.

I think Sabrina's confessional "pull up your big girl panties and make a decision" and Alicia saying "PLEASE" are about Chelsea's wishy-washiness...if so I feel like they may be setting up a Chelsea FTC loser's edit.

I think it's rather obviously Kim-Chelsea-Kat F3. Kim is getting all the positive editing they can muster given how bland she is - it seems any strategic move/decision made it's shown Kim is calling the shot. Chelsea is shown to be a strategic dunce, and shown to be wishy washy, and Kat is getting an OTT "I'm an endearing dummy" edit. Since Kim is so boring, they have to tell the story of why the other F3 will not win as much as why she will to make us believe Kim is a worthy winner.

I agree on the f3 but I don't think Kim is that boring.She's speaks somewhat monotone but I think her strategy and actions are pretty interesting.If she wins I'm glad they're editing a woman winner as dominant for once.

I don't think Kim is that boring. She's not dramatic, but if you're too dramatic then you have no chance to win. (unless you're Fabio which I never understood)

It's almost as if we have a well-defined China redux.
Kim=Todd (the strategic one)
Kat=Courtney (the weak one who was carried but was never a threat)
Chelsea=Amanda (the emotional, apologetic one)
Sabrina=Denise (the matriarch who NOBODY will let into the finals)

What we have not seen yet is a true connection between Kim and Kat. We have no real way of knowing where those two stand with each other.

Something I didn't think about is if Troy makes it to f5 by winning immunities/without having used his idol,he could idol Sabrina at f5 before going out at f4.What I mean is maybe Sabrina isn't "betrayed" by Kim and Chelsea" but Troy idols her.

People have faltered and still won, but I tend to agree. My impression of Troy is he falls just short. I don't see Kat making F3, way too likable and not physical enough to earn the spot. The stronger players take her out a little before or after Troy.

Great point about comparing season with China, because I remember I red one post in wich castaway208 compared this season with China.

Kat is likable but she won't be seen as someone who strategized. If Chelsea is already being called a coattail rider than Kat certainly is as well.

Although ,Chelsea is only being called a coat-tail rider after Mike has already watched the season like we have, that doesn't mean at the time of FTC if Chelsea is there she is considered a coat-tail rider.

Either way, was there a new preview during Amazing Race tonight?

Yeah, I suppose that's true. But I'm not sure I actually see Kim beating Troy in a F3 situation. I think that one would be a tough call and would be very close. From what we've seen so far, Troy would have every man's vote but Michael's, and there's no telling how the women would vote in that situation if Kim not only betrayed them but has what would be seen as a deserving winner sitting next to her in the finals.
