Posts: 3588 03/25/12 09:32 PM Registered user Reply Quote More Recent Posts	I notice that the supposed F3 consists of the three teams who have neither come second to last on an elimination leg, or last on an NEL (and that was including the guidos). Also, ART/JJ are in the F3 with the only two teams who have ever placed higher than them on a leg so far (Dave/Rachel have done so three times, and Brendon/Rachel once). Normally that would make me think the season is becoming predictable, but who would have thought Rachel/Dave would stack hay faster than the guidos tonight? I only knew because of the spoilers. I guess I'm trying to say that I like this season so far. It's had quite a few good moments, and if you count tonight's FF race, four of the eliminations have been really tense.

Brendon/Rachel have been pretty MOR these past two episodes, but that looks like it changes next week (let's see how the fight is edited, and who's made to look like the bad guy). Art/JJ look like they're being set up for a fall, except they have had a few "it's important to stay modest" confessionals, and they could barely survive the next few legs, become humbled, and then win. Rachel/Dave look like their edit is improving, so we'll see if it lasts. In other words, the editing is once again telling us nothing.

They have a redemption arc set in motion and that's probably going to lead to their win. The edit is setting Art/JJ up for a fall, no question. Dave/Rachel are a bickering couple/villainous team. They've been shown to fight and we still have Rachel's blowup to Dave to come. They strike me as a redux of Jillmas more than anything.

Art/JJ only stand out as obnoxious and being set up for a fall, so if the rumored F3 is true, it's Brenchel or Dave/Rachel that wins. Of the rest of the teams, the only two I can see possibly winning are Nary/Jamie and Mark/Bopper. The guys have the feel good edit and could be the good guy winners that we just love and are glad to see win, but they seem more like the usual F4/F5 likeable team that falls just short. Nary/Jamie I only consider because they remind me of Kisha/Jen at this point. Both teams were fairly MOR, not over the top but also not invisible and forgotten. We keep getting the teachers storyline hammered into us whenever they talk, it could be a huge part of why they win, with the other teams not being afraid of them lying or being too tough to beat.

I'm not saying it's proof they win or anything; I'm saying it's a counterargument to people who believe they are merely being set up for a fall. From an editing perspective, it's really anyone's game, especially after Ernie/Cindy destroyed the whole "most MOR F3 team wins" trend we had going.

I'm pretty sure the next leg is going to be a NEL or a TBC leg and we have to think about the possibility of a U turn in the next two legs.
