She simply sucks and doesn't need to be a part of the cast come next season. Was there any need to have a new addition anyway? They already have Nick, Greg, Sarah and Eckley's kid. The only thing I was pissed with this past season was the lack of Archie among the 2nd tier CSI's.

I've always liked ES, and the way her character was introduced was intriguing, in my opinion. They did it that way for a reason. It worked on me. I find a discussion about how DB and ES know each other far more entertaining than a discussion about how a character's hair is styled. It's a part of the storyline, not just an opinion regarding an actor's appearance. BT, since you don't give a shit, I'll stop discussing it altogether. Thank you for setting me straight.

Probably totally wrong, but the thought entered my mind.

I think it's asking a lot of an audience to remember complicated plot nuances for 4 months, and then begin to reference them all again in a premiere. I enjoy cliffhangers, but not ones that hinge on overly wrought details and story arcs. All I remember was Eckley was shot and the granddaughter was missing. So I didn't really enjoy the premiere, as all the stuff about the money and the case from the finale (which I vaguely remembered) was cloudy to me. My question is, are they beginning some sort of plot arc in which DB has a mental disorder/breakdown? The scene at the end with the wife was strange and I didn't quite get it. I'm assuming the breakup in the office was imagined, given the last scene. Then the scene with him killing McKeen. Also, how did he forget the combination to his gun safe? Or was that just supposed to show that it'd been a long time since he had used it? But still, you'd think you'd remember something like that.

I'm still a fan of Danson in this role. Initially I thought D.B. forgetting the combination was because it had been so long, but then with the other scenes (killing McKeen and the scene with his wife), I'm questioning his mental stability as well. I hope they don't break his character down so much so that he is no longer able to perform his job. That would stink. By the way, I'm still convinced that Elisabeth Shue is D.B.'s daughter from a previous marriage/relationship. Her concern for the little girl was familial. Stokes better not become that guy who constantly talks about quitting his job when things don't go his way. It's as annoying as people who threaten to leave a message board and never go. Move past it. Deal with your issues and move on, or move on. Frankly, I'm already over it.
