I don't like the current structure of having 6 jurors at the round table who deliberate then just adding on the last juror (the last person evicted) in the studio. They've only started doing this since season 11 and I can only figure it's to keep the drama and tension high till the very end. The reason I don't like it is because the person just evicted is in such an emotional state that they may vote emotionally and not on game. And the last person evicted has no ability to voice their opinions to the other 6. If season 5 had this current structure I think Cowboy probably would have won that season. The reason why I think that is Diane was in such an emotional state (having just been backstabbed by her boyfriend, Drew, whom she thought was taking her to the final 2) and she even said after seeing Drew's lackluster good-bye message that it might hurt his jury votes. But she ended up voting for Drew and he won by a 4-3 margin. Had she not calmed down I think there's a very strong possibility that she votes Cowboy out of spite. And take a look at this last season: an emotional Adam votes against Rachel and had it not been for Shelly, Porsche would have won.
In addition, I liked it when the jury questioned the final 2 the night before they vote and not minutes before they vote. This is because I think the jury makes up their minds the night before they go to the studio. Consequently, the question-answer session would have a greater impact and influence on their decisions the night before when they still haven't made up their minds. When the jurors go in to the studio they have almost entirely made up their minds. So the question-answer session now feels like a ritual and it's getting worse every year. Before they allowed all jurors to ask both finalists a question. Then they allowed them to ask only one finalist a question. And this season they as a group agreed on 4 questions (2 for each finalist). It is just a ritual much like the final speech the nominees make on eviction night is just a ritual.
I want them to go back to the old structure of all 7 jurors deliberating and each juror being able to ask both finalists a question the night before they vote.
