It's my first try at edgic, so I know that my chart will not count, but I still want to try do this, mainly because I am bored. I am foreigner so my english may sometimes be a little off.
Bill - UTR2 One confessional about tarp. Also he was reading reward challenge rules with annoying accent.
Colton – OTTN5 Lazy and a drama queen. Yes, he had CP moments, but even then he is unaware of his position in the game (he is a misfit himself - which was highlighted a few minutes before his confessional about misfits alliance)
Greg – OTT1 Crazy dance, comment from Colton, Lief and Sabrina remarks reinforcing his OTT edit.
Jay – UTR1 Fast comment explaining reward challenge.
Jonas – MOR2 His edit was about Colton. Nothing about him and his game. Enough for MOR thought.
Leif – UTR1 Misfits alliance.
Matt – INV
Michael – MOR3 Narrator. One thing was interesting in his edit, during his first confessional about that none of the girls had gone home except Kourtney, "It's kinda annoying" part was chopped in by editors from other confessional to give him a little N tone and paint him as a ruthless. Future villain?
Troy – MOR1 Excited about the idol news, wants to get rid of the muscle (Matt and Michael) with his alliance. That’s why he deserves MOR, he lay out his plan.
Alicia – OTTN3 No need to comment on that, pretty obvious. Corinne 2.0 vibes anyone?
Chelsea – CP3 We get into her head, she considers to change her alliance and contemplate what will happen if she flips (She thinks she will be safe because the weak players will go first, and she is perceived as strong).
Christina – MOR3 Confessional about challenge, trying to bury a hatchet between her and Alicia, and thrown under the bus by Kat at TC. This time she manage to not erupt. Definitely not UTR edit. Kat and Alicia comments are to little to warrant a N-tone, considering that they were strengthening their N-tones (Alicia – ruthlessness, Kat – hypocrisy)
My personal thoughts on her: She is so fake. She tries to hide her bitchy personality. I can't wait for her another outburst. Love her.
Kat – OTTN5 Wow, unexpected. I thought she will be UTRFUN until her MORP2 boot episode.
Kim – CP3 Her alliance with Chelsea is highlighted, she explains during their conversation why they need to vote off Nina, which also shows us that she wants to stick with their alliance. Her explanation to Colton why he can’t stay with them was painting her as a smart, savvy survivor player. Also, she had very interesting answer for TC question about her strengths, which not only give us insights about Kim personality but also could be easily skipped by editors if she wasn’t relevant to the story.
Also I understand skeptical stand towards her, because of her annoying fanbase. No one wants to another CP1 happen, but she really has an interesting edit and I think her obvious CP edit is second guessed because of that.
Monica – CPP3 P tone is undeniable, we are supposed to agree with her and root for her to get into majority allaiance. Also insight about where she stands in the game right now and P SPV from other girls. She might get an underdog edit.
Nina – OTT5 This is the hardest one for me. It could go either way CP or OTT. For me she was more OTT, because she was scrambling in a very desperate way. She was a caricature for me.
Sabrina – CP5 Leader of a tribe. A lot confessionals about what Salani tribe need to do to start winning, nothing about her personal game. However she has a story (leadership, relationship with Colton) wich was heavy exposed and developed in this episode, so for that she gets CP.
Bill - UTR2
Colton – OTTN5
Greg - OTT1
Jay - UTR1
Jonas - MOR2
Leif - UTR1
Matt - INV1
Michael - MOR3
Troy - MOR1
Alicia - OTTN3
Chelsea - CP3
Christina - MOR3
Kat - OTTN5
Kim - CP3
Monica - CPP3
Nina - OTT5
Sabrina - CP5

Again, this is not my decision (although I agree with it). Spoiler readers CAN be prejudices and hence I can't count their votes, even if I would want to, untill what they read was debunked (re: Redemption Island after Matt's boot). While Nina's edgic didn't follow the spoiler as far as I know, there's still a possibility about it being correct. Oh well, I might just as well post the list Phoenix PM'ed me: Spoiler [+]Alex ShallowAlsatBattleBuddhaburningsceptreCFCChengcindidindiCirieSurvivorCisacoachSFcyclehausenDream Machineet91evansFistOfLegendGabonergeorgiakHagridjedijun jonnyfairplayjuicyfruitJT4everkarl100589KirblarKriokolonelegendlinesinaconversationMarianoManmerelyModestyBnadreOowataniteOwenJDavePoloniumPrettyInPinkPuppet MasterPyreRedSoxRilassRunnindownScrudamseveCSFCShowStealerShredSportsmanStephenwashereSurvivorgirl22SurvNinjaTallBilltangoUlongwinsYemaGrl1988ZombieLinda You are hereby disclosed from posting winner spec in this thread, etc, etc. (tbqh I have no idea who most of these people even are, and some never even posted contenders before (yema, naj, Polonium) so there aren't that many, I guess)You can however STILL to EDGIC. Again, spoilers don't affect RATINGS. They only affect CONTENDER. if you are on this list and want to contribute, you can just don't post CONTENDERS.

Bill – UTR – Not much from him again. I had high hopes for a pro comedian….alas.
Colton – CPN – He’s annoying as hell, so I have to be careful it’s not a knee-jerk desire to call him OTT… but he’s CP since he talks about long term game moves too, and uses the idol wisely to rally an alliance. We’re in his head (unfortunately, granted) and understand his short and long term goals. (I never understood, except in Boston Rob’s case, why keeping the idol secret was the best strategy. I always thought the best long term protection was to let everyone know I have it, forcing people to look for easier boots, and using its advantage to win friends.) In the final analysis I think he’s more than just a caricature.
Greg-zan – OTT – The dancing was an OTT blessing, since it reminded me that men can be fools too.
Jay – UTR – A bit of narration. I almost gave him INV and can barely remember him.
Jonas – MOR – He has inherited the “Sophie” style presence… there, on the rader even when not part of the action. That may not be good enough as a male edit. But in a tribe of macho guys who seem doomed since they can’t count…
Leif – UTR – Given his unique position, I’d think he’d have some development if he went anywhere. Reminds me of the arguments made to eliminate Keith since no care was given to give the backstory about his heart.
Matt – INV – I kept looking for the Big Bad, and he was MIA.
Michael – MOR – Narrator material…
Troy – MOR – He seems UTR in some ways, but the content he does get is significant, especially that recap quote.
Salani
Alicia – MORN – Her statement about leaving Christina to drown puts her in N-teritory.
Chelsea – MOR – A great edit continues. She continues to be visible, and is a little more rounded, not just an OTT ‘chicken girl’ caricature. I don't have her as CP because she seems to be following Kim, rather than thinking independently....
Christina – UTR – A bit of narration, a bit of focus, an uncomfortable moment at TC – just enough to keep her from INV…and in minds as the next boot?
Kat – OTTN – In her favor, she didn’t fold up at TC and quit after Jeff took charge of the anti-Kat TCQing. She tried to make a case for herself and demonstrated some tenacity in the end. Others in her spot in the past have outright admitted they should get the boot. I take that to mean she is confident in her allies, which could be subtle story editing that actually supports Chelsea-Kim n the long run. But overall she seemed rather blasé about her failures, joined the hallowed ranks of lazy girls who don’t help at camp, was mocked at TC, and shown up by Nina and Jeff. She was kept for one reason….no one in the alliance wanted to upset the apple cart and give someone ammo later on to call them untrustworthy.
Kim – CP – One reason I like her edit better than Chelsea’s so far – she’s the one shown looking long term, worried about booting Kat. If she and Chelsea are a pair inside an alliance of five, she seems to be the dominant one in the pair.
Monica – CP – I liked that she kept her head in the game and at TC. Too often when playing Survivor, people bond to the point they forget they aren’t in a fairy tale story where honor and morality aren’t the priority in the game. (coach-cough cough) Of course there needs to be balance. The Russells of the game should lose for forgetting that people aren’t game pieces. But the flip side is also true. You can’t let sentimentality overrule common sense game play. She spoke what so many of the female audience had to be thinking, then voted in her own best interests. Monica kept her priorities straight and the edit took care, it seemed to me, to shield her from Jeff’s overall criticism of the choice to boot Nina and keep Kat.
Nina – MORP – I know the P is controversial, but I really weight heavily Jeff’s views and the things he says. It’s clear he was anti-Kat, and disapproved of the decision to keep her, which by implication was positive for Nina. I’m really concerned right now with how the edit is shaping the Salani as a whole verses the individual women within the tribe.
Sabrina – MOR – She is just a little shy of CP for me…I liked that she stepped into the leadership role with little fuss, and seems to be genuinely capable. While it was mostly Chelsea’s nomination, the edit seemed to confirm all Chelsea said, if only by saying little about the decision. This is good for Sabrina as the edit often takes care to highlight bad choices in leaders, or self-styled leadership hubris. As others have said, her visibility is too high for traditional edgic comfort…but part of that is due to story circumstances that force the edit to be visible. What I like is that despite such high vis, she has not been OTT or inconsistently portrayed or contradicted. Care’s been taken, it seems, to keep her edit solidly centered, if toneless.
*********
I went back and read my notes from last season. My three biggest mistakes were that I counted story logic too lightly when interpreting editing, I allowed visibility to affect ratings, and…I eliminated Sophie too soon. Thus…..while there are some characters with pretty poor edits I’m being very conservative in eliminating people.
Top Contender (5 pts)
Kim
Strong Contender (4 pts)
Jonas, Chelsea, Monica, Mike
Possible Contender (3 Pts)
Troy, Sabrina, Jay,
Weak Contender (1 pt)
Matt, Greg, Bill, Leif, Christina, Alicia (I’d really like to eliminate her)
Out of Contention – ELIMINATED
Colton, Kat

Neither was CP, but MOR.Kim got two TCQs. One was definitively MOR, the other was arguably CP, but took a stretch. Kim got a Colton scene, which was MOR, and both talked to each other about Kat, which is arguably CP, but again, leans MOR.

In the future, Zombie, If you have any questions or concerns, please be mature and ask about it, instead of slinging shit. It will look better on you and maybe even earn you back some respect you have lost.
Earl and Rob were both pretty visible at the beginning (and their whole seasons). Just going by visibility ratings, Rob was 4 and 5 and Earl was 4 and 4 for the first two eps. This is farther back but Richard was 5 and 4 and even Sandra was 4 and 4 for S7. Assuming Sabrina is 5 and 5, that really wouldn't be a HUGE deviation. Visibility is obviously the least important part of edgic, but the numbers are right there. But really, none of her airtime has even been negative. A lot of it (especially in ep 2) is her speaking for and to the audience and coming across as sensible with the stuff going on around her, which is a recent trend for winner edits if you think about it. She found the idol and was dubbed the leader of her tribe so she's definitely an important part of what went on irl, and I feel like she's the type of personality that could be made out to be a cocky asshole with the right footage, so if they are setting her up for a fall or something, they could do a better job. Cochran had a lot of good things about his edit, but he also had the class clown moments. And a lot of people didn't eliminate him until he was voted out anyway. It's understandable if Sabrina isn't your top winner pick since there are still multiple viable options, but to ELIMINATE her already just for being a woman with lots of airtime? idts.
