I had looked at that busy area as it was the only place another person might be, but I wasn't looking for someone crouched or kneeling or sitting. You are right. Well, that is odd that she is in that position. So I guess Leif just fell off (cap below) and that is why he is climbing back up the ladder, to go again. For all we know, Greg may have fallen off after Leif and could be coming back but isn't in sight yet. The challenge isn't as close to over as it appears. Clearly, that is she who is now kneeling on the platform....there is no reason, other than she has injured herself, for her to be kneeling at this point. Kourtney has already broken her arm there, most likely with her fall into the net. Well done! Actually, it is bml1980 that deserves the credit for the find! Absolutely, spectacular find, great job! Furthermore, kneeling is a perfectly legitimate and often-used strategy when it comes to balance beams. Just go back and watch the Vanuatu opening IC. Almost all of them kneeled across. Yeah, she could just be sitting down while she waits, but with the whole rest of the tribe standing, that would be a pretty stunning way of separating yourself from the group for no reason. Assuming it is broken at that point (not with bones sticking out, obviously, or they would stop the challenge), the "showing their true colors" bit must be about the women's utter lack of sympathy - they wouldn't know it was broken, of course, but they should be able to tell it is hurting her. She might well be a little dizzy/faint, too, natural body reaction to try to get you to stop running around.

And good job to 'Flowerpowergirl' and 'Outfrontgirl' for putting the pieces together on the Kourtney injury in the IC1 here. Close examination does show that Kourtney is actually sitting/kneeling w/her left leg to the side a bit. Her hand placements indicate that she is not tying her shoes. And she definitely appears to be holding her left wrist/fore-arm with her right hand. the fingers of her left hand can be seen extending beyond Nina's right leg/Monica's left leg. The holding of that wrist/forearm implies that it is hurt, just as the earlier info on Kourtney reported. Which btw should also be worth some kudos as well for their groundwork...'srebotnic', 'molemantn', 'Polonium'. Why would Kourtney be standing on the platform waiting her turn, and then a few seconds later be crouching on the ground holding her arm? Did she get hit by a flying coconut? Occam's razor: She's just kneeling. Maybe she's fixing her shoe. And for the record I don't even see Kourtney in that press photo. :\

Also, if you look at the group picture of the men from before the challenge starts, Troyzan is wearing shorts, and Leif is wearing khaki pants. So, unless Troyzan changed his outfit, it's not him.

I can only see one of her knees. Being on one knee is a common position for shoelace tying. If the medical team was going to take her off the platform, then what are they waiting for? There's no medical team in sight there...why the hell would they leave Kourtney sobbing on her knees in pain while NO ONE else looks on? She obviously isn't hurt in that image.
