I'm pretty sure Meri doesn't want to go back to baby land. Lots of insight into Meri this episode. You could see the venom for Janelle and Christine - pent up rage over them marrying her husband after her, and probably also them having so many babies when she struggled

This is turning out to be all kinds of fucked up with the relationship between these women, isn't it? JFC, you all wanted this plural marriage shit, yet you don't seem to really like some of the other wives after all. TLC must be creaming their pants hoping for big drama.

I was very surprised to hear Meri admit that she doesn’t have a meaningful relationship with Janelle and Christine. She seems to actively dislike them for sleeping with her husband and bearing his fruit. I get the feeling J & C are very close and that Meri felt excluded. Could also explain why she encouraged Kody to take another wife. Robyn offering to be a surrogate for Meri has Kody’s hove prints all over it. My cynical heart loved seeing Hunter with Solomon at the end.

Yeah, my instinct is Meri will say no thanks, because of her age. She may also feel like it's still just not natural and wouldn't be the same as REALLY having another child herself. I was kinda hoping she'd say yes though. Not sure if I still feel that way or not. I was really surprised that Meri apparently didn't consider herself close with the other wives. They've been together almost 20 years now. That's a lot of time to build a relationship with each other. Maybe the other gals just prefer to do their own thing but still share Kody and Meri just wanted an actual sister/best friend type relationship. Just surprised it wasn't like that. I was surprised at that too, but I bet a lot of it has to do with the infertility thing. She was struggling and they were cranking out babies left and right. Couldn't have been easy I also doubt that she'll take Robyn up on her offer. Hell knows I wouldn't want to go back to babies once being completely out of that stage If you do think about it, the personality difference between Meri, Christine and Janelle has always been evident. I'm not even sure its fair to say that Janelle and Christine were close while Meri wasn't, because I'm not sure thats the case. I think they were three very different personalities that came together in the marraige because of Kody and never developed that bond that they were supposed to have. Hell, just even remember Meri standing up for Robyn's kids a few weeks ago, and asking for backup to crickets. Another piece of evidence right there

Once again, Logan was a nice kid, sticking up for Robyn and the unborn baby (& Mariah too). I really do like that Logan.

I really wish they filmed all the crap we know had to have happened. Robyn never fails to say "He loves you more than me" or "he spends more time with you" in that imitating someone kind of voice, she acts like she's kidding, but she is always the only one laughing. Obviously there is a back story to that. I really wish Christine didn't take the high road last night and talk about how mean she was to Robyn, what about what Robyn and Kody did to her? She's in labor by herself at the hospital while Kody is hanging out with Robyn? Oh hell no! When Truely was born it was if they got a new kitten, Solomon shows up and all the sudden a bright star is hanging in the east. Meri is acting like no one ever had a baby before and the rest of the sister wives better show the proper respect to Robyn and the golden baby. I still really think Meri hates Robyn . She knows the other 2 and most of the kids hate her too. She won't admit it was huge mistake, instead she's all about the sister wife she never had, Robyn's great, blah, blah , blah and is overcompensating because she brought Robyn in. It appears that Robyn can shut the fuck up...she just has to be in her 18th hour of labor.

On this, I think they have a legitimate bone to pick here - when the wives are away, they are expected to babysit for the younger ones. I'm not sure if their issue was so much with Robyn having a child, or their babysitting responsibilities increasing again

The older kids have a lot of responsiblity for their younger siblings, it seems, although not as much as the Duggars. But considering it was Janelle's kids talking about another mouth to feed, I can see them getting that vibe from their mom who actually concerns herself with the family finances. I saw nothing wrong with them discussing how they actually felt about it. Isn't that the point of having them on the sofa answering questions?
