I quite enjoyed it, though it's quite a bit darker than I usually like.

Did anyone check this out on Sunday? It airs with Battlestar Galactica on Sci Fi and is based on a book series of the same name.

I haven't watched it yet, but I'm dying to. I adore the books.

I watched it this morning on the Sci Fi Web site. Didn't even know it existed, was just looking around for a movie. I thought it was really good. I can't wait to catch in on Sunday.

I liked the show - just started reading the books, so I'm not up on all the mythology yet. What was up with the Ravens? Are they trying to keep the boy from the Council? Is he a wizard or something else?
I guess I better hurry up and read the books so I know that the whole story is. |

I've been toying with picking this up, based on the promos SciFi's airing during BSG.
Is this a Harry Potter thingie where if you jump into say the 3rd movie, you wouldn't understand? Would us folks that know nothing of the series be able to keep up? |

I accidently tuned into this show last night after ECW and recognized Saunders from season 3 of 24 so I figured I'd give it a shot. Pretty good, reminded me of Psych a bit (good) in a way, but kinda got lost in the backstory of everything that was going on.
I can give this another shot. |

I liked it and I don't know anything about the book. I'm sure they will explain more as they go along. So jump on in. You can watch the first episode at the Sci Fi Web site.

I watch the show. It's not great but is decent. The lead actor is very good (not bad to look at either). I can't stand his ghost sidekick, who is stagey and freakish looking (at least he doesn't have the scraggly long hair he used to have in the 80's, but a bleach blonde short hairdo isn't much better).

I like Bob - but now that I've started reading the books, the Morgan character is really throwing me because he isn't anything like Morgan in the book. I like the show, but it hasn't become "must see" for me yet.

I enjoy it, but I like the books better. I like the way they do Morgan on the show better than in the books. Book Morgan is too one-note. But I like Book Bob better than TV Bob.
Book Bob is an air spirit with no sense of human morality. He's not immoral; it's just that the difference between good and evil is so alien to him that he has trouble keeping track of which is which--which creates some funny moments. TV Bob is a little tedious sometimes. |

I just ordered the DVD's through Blockbuster Online Access. If its about magic and what not, it should be decent, eh?

Aye, it's decent. I liked it. It's fairly fluffy entertainment.
SciFi didn't renew it, though, did they? I think I read that somewhere... |
