This one could be a lot of things. The first thing I thought of was the challenge in Vanuatu where Leanne got lapped and almost drowned. It's really hard to tell much from just one cap of JT holding a bag attached to a rope, though.

Four players start from a pontoon and one at a time must take two puzzle bags to shore feeding them along a rope winding around an outrigger canoe, up and over a wall on a pontoon, around three submerged hitching posts, an underwater truss, the finally take them ashore to a puzzle solving area. Next person begins after puzzle bag as been delivered. When all bags have been delivered, puzzle solvers begin final task

Its probably safe to assume that each tribe wil assign 3 swimmers and 2 puzzle makers for the challenge, as I can't see them putting 1 person on the puzzle by themselves, but it is possible. If this is for Immunity and Courtney does the reward, she'll be the most likely sit out, so it would be a pretty safe guess that for the Villains, the line up would be:

Russell-Danielle-Parvati as swimmers and Sandra-Jerri as puzzle-makers.

For the Heroes, it isn't as clear, as I'm unsure if they would make Rupert a swimmer or a puzzle maker. In that case it could be:

Colby-JT-Candice as swimmers and Amanda-Rupert as puzzle makers or Colby-JT-Rupert as swimmers and Amanda-Candice as puzzle-makers but the first group seems more fit for that portion, but this is all just my speculation.

They've already done a 3-runners 2-puzzle people type challenge with the 5 current heroes, and their setup worked pretty well, so they may stick to that. IIRC, it was Amanda-JT on Puzzle and Candice-Rupert-Colby running. If anyone switched there it'd be Candice and JT in my opinion.

For the villains, Sandra is in the other challenge for sure, so it would make sense for them to sit her out in this and Courtney in the other one. She's not a particularly strong swimmer, and the last time she had to do a puzzle it didn't even really seem like she was trying.

Wow, I actually got one right, lol.

I think I remember someone saying on the ASS commentary that Colby is an okay swimmer, but not anything great, so they may have Rupert swim instead of COlby,

They don't know at the reward challenge what the immunity challenge is going to be. Hopefully what Villains learned from last week's reward challenge line up is to play all-round weaker players there, regardless of how well-suited they are to that challenge, so as to have access to all-round stronger players for the immunity challenge.

Specifically, Courtney should always play in the reward challenge.

(Remember back in the olden days when we cared about things like what the immunity idol looked like and whether it was anatomically correct?)

yes, I do remember the old days ... at least I was around, although the memory is going.

I went and found a cap of the idol from VG's Resource Gallery (and edited my post to put them side by side) and the idol does have a flat head, which might look like this if shot from a higher angle rather than dead on like the full idol cap. Yes, it could theoretically be the reward. I think I see a nose though ... am I imagining it?

Both Sandra and Courtney are participating the reward challenge, Russell sits it out.

I think Dylanpad's predictions on who does what in the challenge are pretty accurate, although it's hard to imagine Russell swimming :O

I liked this challenge in Vanuatu. Funny how in that it was the well-mixed, strong tribe destroying the mostly-female tribe and it looks like that'll happen again.

Rupert is a strong swimmer if my memory serves me correctly, and think he bragged about that fact prior to this season.

Am surprised that there hasn't been any good swimming challenges in Samoa, but I guess the water isn't great for these type of challenges.
