Located south the Persian Gulf, This flourishing city boasts the tallest tower in the world, the most expensive hotel in the world, and everything you can't imagine that can be found in the Arabian Peninsula (including American meltdowns over a six storey Leap of Faith - just kidding!). It's hard to imagine that Dubai was able to show it's investing power just over decades. However, written accounts document the existence of the city for at least 150 years prior to the formation of the UAE.
