Fine, you can exclude "Already Gone," but that's it.

oh dear.
it sounds like a nondescript mashup of any kelly/pink/avril/disney twits pop song of the past five years. add max martin to the list of producers who needs a break. but it's cloying and catchy!!!!111!!1 so radio will eat this up i'm sure, which is the goal after all. congrats iraheta. |

If I didn't know this was Allison I would have thought it was Miley. She'll do great with the tweeners but sorry to say I hate it.

Just gave the song a listen. It's not great, but it will be popular. American Idol contestants will never produce a hardrock song. The best you can get is
poprock, alternative or maybe even soft rock. Even Bo Bice and Chris Daughtry haven't produced anything very "hard" sounding. It is very catchy
and it'll get a lot of radio airtime. The tweens will love it, which is presumably the target for this. I hope the rest of her album isn't so...
current-sounding, if that makes any sense.
But Allison is love regardless. <3 |

I like it!
But then again I actually like some of Miley's songs even if I think she's a vapid little shitstain. I also like Demi Lovato *shrug* I can see her having a huge hit with this song which makes me squee!! |

Posters have said that they let their children (who are preteens and teens) listen to it and they all said that they love it and would download it. So really
if the teens hear this on the radio and love it, she'll have a big hit.
I really like the single, the one good thing is that it really gets in your head. My dad listened to it and I saw him bobbing his head and singing the "Oh yeah" parts |

Ugh, I hate that Allison sold her soul this way. Fuck you today's teens.

I finally decided who this song reminds me of: Fefe Dobson. Who I liked as sort of a guilty pleasure. :)

VERY disapppointed with the song, as catchy as it is. It HIDES Allie's throaty voice and growl. She has a great voice and the production basically masks
it. Yuck. But, as said, it will likely be a huge hit, I said once that she was too much like Kelly for anyone to know what to do with her, and it appears I
was right.

Sounds like a smash hit from the first listen. So happy for her!

Not surprised it's a typical pop/rock song about breaking up. This is JIVE/19E after all...
Her voice sounds good on it but it is very generic overall. Deff marketed for the tweens. I'm hoping for more once the album is out but I won't hold my breath. |

I LUV TIJUANA wrote:I loved Fefe. Agree with most of you about it sounding generic. However, Allison IS a teenager and at this point that's what probably they needed to do to get her to radio. Kinda like what they did with Jordin. I think it's a good foot in the door to get her name out there. The CD may have more songs that really showcase Allison's voice. She brings an energy and talent that a lot of these teen singers today don't really have. |
