First, Katy, let me state that the egg came first. Now that we've covered the serious stuff, on the the fun stuff: SFB, you don't have the complete story when you write: "Tina and Jerri's edits accurately reflected the way that most of their tribe mates felt about them. Tina was respected and Jerri was hated." At first anyway, Jerri was adored by Bitchell and Lamber while Colby and Tina liked her much more than they did Kel and Keith. It took a long time for Colby to turn against Jerri, so long in fact that Kucha never imagined that Jerri could have received a vote. The Kuchas all said they were under the impression that Jerri was well liked. That certainly wasn't Jerri's edit. Actually, the comparison between Jerri and Tina perfectly illustrates the double standards of editing.
- Jerri was an overt leader and was portrayed quite negatively. The best example came at the beginning of episode #4 when she apparently "stole" the boat from Keith and Tina who were ready to go fishing. The real story was that Mitchell, Lamber and Jerri had gone fishing at dawn every day for the first 9 days. Tina and Keith knew that and it led many posters back in the day to think that Tina used the boat to create another conflict between Jerri and Keith. The editors chose not to show any of the previous expeditions so that we would side with "poor" Tina and Keith but they certainly chose to show every evil laugh that Jerri had to make us think she had done something bad and was relishing it.
- Tina was a more covert leader so the editors chose to hide all her machinations to portray her as a good mom. But machinations there were. You must know that Tina walked up to Mitchell before episode #4 TC and told him they had to vote out Lamber. When Mitchell refused, Tina walked back to Colby and told him they had to vote out Mitchell since he wouldn't vote out Lamber. Pretty cold-blooded, I'd say. Why not show that? Her edit was deceptive indeed and that's still relevant today.
- You have to be kidding about Cirie in Micronesia. Cirie had a perfectly good reason to vote out Yau Man but the editors chose to ignore it, leaving the viewers to think that it could have been a case of PMS. (Edgic saw Cirie as a "viable winner" so they chose the rating that fit.) Jonathan may have come off more negatively to you but many saw him as defending their beloved YM and sided with him. The editors had to know that would be the reaction of the audience. And you're still asking for burden of proof after Katy's brilliantly succinct: "Stephenie without power = beloved with a strong positive edit. Stephenie in control = evil negatively toned bitch"?

And you're arguing that it's because the editors are sexist and don't think women should have power? Do you realize how asinine that sounds coming from the guy who asked me to believe that they broke federal laws and fixed the game in order to give her that power?

SFB, only someone as obtuse as you can't see how much room there is between StepheME, the entitled Mayan Queen, and a "UTR default winner" whatever that is!!!
Do you even realize that the editors aren't responsible for the twists? That their work starts after the events occurred? Guatemala certainly wasn't a story about Stephvivor or "Everyone loves Stephenie" despite productions original attempts to make it so.

Real strong women learn to make their mark on this suppsoedly "male-dominated" society rather than just bitching about it.

How does the show work at pre production, as in when you get onto location, do you get to see all the other survivors before the game starts and when do you find out what tribe you are on??? Do you really have to walk to all the locations, do you ever talk to the people that are filming you at camp and how long do the conessional last, do you do them just once a day??? Can jury members discuss who they will vote for at ponderossa and how much do you know about the oter tribe members before you merge????? Would be thankfull if you answerd these questions =P Yeah

Like before the FTC, who were you in favour of, and after their answers, how did the favour change? I wanna know *how* bad Amanda's FTC performance really was, like if you went in 50-50, then dropped to 90% in favour of Parvati or something. Thanks! And if you want, feel free to answer the same thing about Chris and Twila.

Eliza, if you could be on any previous season of Survivor instead of your own, which would you choose and why? (Location; twists; challenges; casts, etc.)

Ozzy and I had gotten pretty close at Ponderosa and I knew how badly he wanted her to win. Her performance at tribal made me tip towards Parvati. I went in 90-10 leaning towards voting for Chris at final tribal in Vanuatu. Chris would have had to have given an abysmal performance for me to vote for Twila and she would've had to be a superstar, neither of which happened.
