After watching Requiem for a Dream, I watched Horsemen. In and of itself, Horsemen was a bad take on the theme from Seven. With the
psychic residue of Requiem still in my mind and soul, it had more of an effect than it otherwise would have.
Horsemen I need to watch a happy movie next. |

A Clockwork Orange was pretty messed up. So was Trainspotting.
Who here has seen Pink Flamingos? I've heard so much about this movie, I pretty much have to see it now, just to satisfy my curiosity. |

I just watched The Boy in the Striped Pajamas and it was disturbing.

I took a few suggestions here this past week. I didn't care for "Them" ("Ils"). The first 10 minutes were pretty suspenseful, but I was
kinda bored throughout the rest of the film. I thought "The Strangers" was better. I also watched "Martyrs" last night and agree that it
was uber-disturbing. I don't understand why they cast an Asian actress to play the young Lucie, but a white actress to play her as an adult. Whatevs, the
move was decent enough. I plan on watching "Inside" tonight. I would say one of the most disturbing films I've ever seen is the Holocaust
documentary "Night and Fog" which features actual concentration camp footage. Powerful and deeply unsettling.

Pink Flamingos is as shocking a movie as I've ever seen. It has to be viewed on the big screen with a crowd to truly be appreciated. Watching it on home
video just made me feel dirty; the first time I saw it the
made me lose it. I had to turn it off.
The finale with Divine is the most famous scene, but it's hardly the most disgusting. |

The music at the end of Requiem sounds like Depeche Mode's Wrong. Anyone who watched it recently catch that? If
you have the DVD, find the song at the end when it is going from POV to POV quickly. Compare that score to Wrong (you can hear it at YouTube).

The "Circle of Shit" sequence in Salo was downright nauseating.
While the movie as a whole wasn't overly disturbing, Black Sun: The Nanking Massacre had some scenes that made me want to look away. But the title has to go to Happiness, if for no other reason than having to watch Phillip Seymour Hoffman splooge on a wall. |

"Happiness" is one of the funniest movies I've ever seen. The final sequence involving the dog is classic.

Just watched Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer that I downloaded because of this thread. Didn't find it all that disturbing.

Just watched a dude's head explode after getting microwaved in the Last House On The Left remake. I chuckled.
Rewatched Henry a few months ago and yeah, it wasn't quite as bad as i'd recalled. |

I love "B" movies.
The most disturbing movie I have ever seen was when I was young and was at a sleepover -- we stumbled upon this porno of a woman with big blonde hair and humongous boobs getting fucked over the bathroom sink. She winked at this dude on the way and he followed her in. I thought they were going to like talk and stuff. |
