This moves really doesn't hurt her at all(provided there is no scandal). People who hate her will still hate her, and people who love her will still love
her. The 2012 race will be decided by how well Obama's policies do, it's really that simple. If I'm a Democrat, I WANT her to stay as Alaska's
governor because it keeps her from raising money and rebuilding the GOP base.

As Governor, she is spending too much time being attacked from outside forces to be effective.Vicc, darling, if we go with your train of thought, how does this help any aspirations she has to the presidency? She's too polarizing to be effective as Governor, but hey, let's get her some book learning time in and run her for president? To my knowledge no governor has ever resigned without being in deep doodoo. If anyone knows of anyone who just up and quit with no real reason other than, "people are being mean to me". /am really only posting in this thread because I don't want to put on pants and water the garden. |
