Renny was and Libra was for sure. Angie also was. I think the rest were recruits.

Renny, otoh, only watched the TV show. At least that's what she told my sister at the casting call in New Orleans.

I don't think Angie was, but I remember April being a fan, but she was probably lying.

April wasn't a fan. She originally applied (or began the recruitment process) for Survivor.
April also thought Big Brother was the biggest reality show on tv, bigger than Survivor even. She also thought that she and Ollie would be on magazine covers across the country. ETA: I also still think Dan was a recruit who has been working to get on since season 8 (maybe 9). I don't think he ever was a genuine fan of the show. But I may be wrong. |

Being a fan does not make you a good strategist, player, or character. See Fans vs. Favorites. YW

I'm just saying, you can be a fan of a show and not know the first thing about strategy. Even if you are the most strategic person in the world, if you
have no social skills it wont matter.

^^True, and one of the greatest, most underated BB strategists-Rachel from BB6 wasn't a BB fan.

Janelle, as much as I love her, wasn't the brightest bulb either and she was a huge fan.

Did Janelle actually apply, though?

I remember hearing something about Janelle applying. She told a story about applying, getting a call, and a casting director saying something rude to her and
her replying "well i guess you'll just have to put me on the show and find out."
