TAR2 is probably the only reality season that I can rewatch and get fully engrossed in every time (TAR3 loses a lot of its impact after the initial appeal of the great F3 and TAR5's characters are more cartoony)

My 3 favorite seasons of TAR (1, 3 and 5) are still in this as well as TAR 9 which I hated. But this ranking shows that Mega64 is principally interested in watching shows that have eye candy because 8 seasons of Big Brother are still left as well as Temptation Island coming in frst.

Survivor: Micronesia - Fans vs. Favorites was the sixteenth season of the United States reality show Survivor. Pitting die-hard Survivor fans against some of the series' past contestants, this season was the show's third to include contestants from past seasons, after the all-returning contestant pool from Survivor: All-Stars, and Survivor: Guatemala in which two contestants from Survivor: Palau returned for a second chance.

Applications were due on July 7, 2007. Around August 2007, 800 applicants were selected for an interview by CBS. Out of these 800, about 48 semi-finalists were selected to go to Los Angeles sometime during September 2007. From these semi-finalists, 10 contestants were selected to participate in the show between late October and mid-December 2007.^[1] The full cast of 20 contestants was revealed on January 3, 2008 by Entertainment Weekly.^[2] In the same article, it was also revealed that Survivor: Palau winner, Tom Westman, was invited to participate, but declined. In other interviews, host Jeff Probst revealed that a list of 20 favorites was put together (enough for an entire game) and then 10 of them were cut. Others included for consideration were Shane Powers (of Survivor: Panama), Yul Kwon (of Survivor: Cook Islands), and Courtney Yates (of Survivor: China), though Probst confirmed that Yates declined the opportunity.^[3] The contestants were split into two tribes, fans and favorites, named Airai and Malakal respectively. Both tribes were named after locations in Palau.

1. Jonny Fairplay. As soon as he was announced, everyone knew he was a first boot. I mean, he's the biggest villain in Survivor history if not all of reality TV, and he wasn't exactly a challenge boon either. Completely disposable, and perhaps the easiest target around. Anyway, there were two immunity idols that would grant immunity in the first TC for the first fan and fave to get one. Fairplay went for the wrong one, and just as he went for the favorite one Yau-Man used his ninja skills to snipe it from Fairplay. So the favorites lose the first immunity challenge. There were two big alliances forming in the favorites, and Fairplay was a swing vote. Fairplay could've very well stayed if it weren't for a combination of his teeth hurting from getting his ass beat by Bonaduce and missing his pregnant girlfriend, so Fairplay pretty much told everyone to vote him out, and they did so, with Fairplay getting an impressive 9/10 votes. So, just as everyone expected, Fairplay was the first boot of Micronesia, but he may just be the most memorable first boot ever.
2. Chet. Probably the most pathetic player in Survivor history. The guy simply sucked at challenges, and he wasn't really that smart, either. He was in an alliance with Tracy and Kathy, but overall he didn't have any purpose whatsoever. Somehow, Tracy still managed to convince Joel to keep him over Mikey B, which was a hilariously bad move for Joel. Then the tribes swapped, and during a challenge Chet and Joel got paired together, and it led to Joel hilarious taking the challenge full-force while dragging poor Chet behind him as Chet continuously got ran into obstacles or bashed into a tree or something. It was horrible, but that's why it was so funny, and it was even funnier because it was happening to Chet. So after Joel got booted for being an idiot, Tracy, Chet, and Erik actually had a chance to take out Ozzy with the help of Ami, but no, Chet wanted to leave! So instead of at least helping his alliance and voting out Ozzy before quitting, Chet simply got his way and was voted out, though I've heard that he had to quit regardless and thus Ozzy probably wasn't going anywhere anyway. What a fucking joke.
3. Kathy. Oh, Krazy Kathy. This woman was entertainment gold. She was quite sheltered in her life, so she was excited to meet new people and especially some of the former Survivors. She actually managed to score one of the two first immunity idols thanks to Yau-Man, and soon she made some classic remarks, like asking Tracy if her breasts were fake, and asking Chet if he wears women's clothing or something. Kathy went to Exile several times, where she got to meet people like Cirie, and then during the tribal swap she got to meet even more characters like Jonathan. Later on, she started getting stressed out about the game, and eventually the stress got to her so bad that she finally quit, with rumors going around that she chopped off some fingers with a machete. She turned out to be probably the best pre-merge character this season, and as a bonus she posted on Sucks and immediately flamed one of her haters on the first page, proving that at least she can hang with Sucksters. Great character overall.
4. The stick. So Ozzy goes to Exile and finds the HII. Ozzy, taking a cue from Yau-Man during Fiji, constructs his own fake HII and hides it where the real HII was, in case some dumbass finds it and thinks it's the real HII. As fate turns out, dumbass Jason goes to Exile, finds the fake HII, and of course thinks it's real. So the game goes on, the tribes merge, and there are some several big alliances intermingled, and then there's Eliza and Jason. Jason promises Eliza his HII if he wins immunity, and he does. So he reveals his HII to Eliza, which spurns the line of the season: "It's just a fucking stick!" Eliza, who is no dumbass, realizes pretty quickly that the HII was a fake, even though Jason the dumbass still thinks it's real. Eliza then realizes she's screwed, though she plays the idol anyway to prove that Ozzy has the actual idol, and she becomes the first member on the jury as the poor fake HII gets burned up. Who knew a simple stick could bring such entertainment?
5. Jason. Douchebag. You can't think of Jason without thinking, "douche." Jason was a dick to the older members of his tribe, then the swap happened, he finds the fake HII, and thinks he's hot shit. Then he discovers his idol's fake, but no big deal, because he's an idiot. He does manage to eat a rat to revive some Borneo nostalgia in that time (or he probably failed at that, too). So Ozzy is blindsided with the HII, and Jason finds the real HII on Exile. So now Jason has the HII and has been a big target, but surely he wouldn't be dumb enough to not use the HII right after Ozzy got booted for having the HII, right? I mean, surely the constant target and HII-holder who has no alliances would be smart enough to realize he's a huge target to go and use his HII that boot to save his ass, right? You forget, this is Jason we're talking about. The same Jason who thought a fucking stick was a HII. Natalie talks Jason out of not using it, and thus he gets the boot. So for the second time in a row, the person who held the HII got booted. Amazing gameplay so far, and we haven't even gotten to the biggest blunder in Survivor history yet?
6. Erik. Erik floated by during the show. At first he was hanging around Joel, then Ozzy, then he was off by himself for awhile. He made the F5 along with the four-woman alliance of Parvati, Amanda, Cirie, and Natalie, and he wins immunity. So he had a great chance of reaching the end and perhaps even winning among a bunch of backstabbers. Nothing could go wrong, right? Well, the women come up with a longshot plan: Get Erik to give up immunity. Yeah, it was a desperate attempt that had a low chance of working, but worth a shot, right? So Natalie starts talking him up, saying that giving up immunity would make him look good in front of the jury. So TC rolls around, and Probst asks if Erik would like to give up immunity, and... he does. Yes, in what may be the biggest blunder of Survivor history, Erik, alone against a four-person alliance, gives up immunity to look better for the jury. The editors didn't even bother hiding the votes for Erik as the women made fun of him for it. Ouch. Then Erik found out he was voted off. James certainly felt relieved since he was no longer the biggest idiot in Survivor history. It was brutal to watch, but oh so hilarious. Erik still lurks on Sucks, where he is probably still reminded everyday of his idiotic move, which he may never live down. It was still worth it for that moment, though.
7. Natalie. She was pretty invisible for the entire pre-merge, and it wasn't until later when the editors finally revealed what could be the most heartless mega-bitch in Survivor history. Of course, that made her all the more entertaining to watch when she was manipulating the guys into doing her bidding, all the while joking about ripping out jugulars and eating them or something. It was great watching someone act so evil while pulling the strings of her former tribemates. She made the F4 with four other women, and that's where her weakness was discovered: slutty women. You see, as a lesbian, Natalie had no trouble manipulating men, but she soon became enamored by the charms of Parvati, the ultimate seductress. Natalie had no chance against Parvati and got voted out, though she did flirt with Parvati for her jury question, which was great to watch, especially when Parvati flirted back to get Natalie's vote. Just kind of a shame we didn't get to see Natalie and Ami interact more, now that I think about it, more to hear their plots to overthrow mankind rather than the chance for lesbian sex (though I wouldn't complain about that, either).
8. Cirie. Much like in Exile Island, I started out disliking her since she opted to join the showmance alliance over the alliance with four of Sucks' favorites, but beneath that alliance her real alliance was with Parvati and Amanda. Of course, Amanda got attached to Ozzy's cock, so Cirie and Parvati had to wean her away by taking out Ozzy, and they continued their reign of terror to make the F3, where instead of facing the jury they had to fight for F2, which Cirie lost immunity for and got taken out, which is a shame because she could've won this time. Still, she made the F4 in both seasons she was in, a feat only matched by Amanda as far as Survivor goes, and played a strong game both times, so overall I gotta respect her impressive gameplay, and I still ended up liking her in the end, just as I did in Exile Island, for her great commentary and her optimistic demeanor. A great player to watch and root for, and at least she made it far twice.
9. Amanda. Still boring, still getting blurred, still livid. She actually came into this thinking she won China, even though the spoilers turned out to be false. Anyway, she soon became attached to Ozzy's cock and leeched off it for nutrients. She ended up allying with Parvati and Cirie, and together they caused some damage, even though Ozzy soon left. Eventually it came to the F6, and Amanda became a target of the fans. She goes to Exile, finds out the idol is at camp, and manages to convince the others that she didn't have the idol. With Parvati and Cirie supporting her (even though Cirie ultimately voted for Amanda), Amanda played the idol successfully and got Alexis out instead, thus securing the three victory. So she makes it to the end, brings Parvati with her, and thus begins her downfall. You see, she thought she won China when she didn't, and a big reason she lost was because of her horrible jury performance, which was so based that Courtney Yates, someone who did absolutely nothing the entire season, got more votes than her. So of course Amanda tries to repeat the jury performace by sucking it up, and of course she loses again. At least we got Lividmanda out of her second appearance.
10. Parvati. Probably the least-deserving favorite to be cast on the season, nevertheless the Queen of the Flirt proved she wasn't just there to flirt with everyone, but to actually play a game. And to that end, she actually did well and redeemed herself of her pure-whore gameplay during Cook Islands. Sure, she flirted a bit with James, but her real loyalty was with Amanda and Cirie. When the swap happened and Parvati got separated from her alliance, she managed to recruit Alexis and Natalie on her side, thus securing the numbers for herself and Amanda. The merge happens, and Eliza, Ozzy, and Jason go, with James getting medevac'd. The fans try to turn on Amanda, but are thwarted and everyone else is taken out. Parvati does a much better job against the jury than Amanda, defending her gameplay and even flirting a bit with Natalie. She ends up winning 5-3, and though she started out as an Amber, she certainly played better than an Amber and overall is a deserving winner in a highly-competitive season.
