ugh. I don't get the Mariam appeal at all. She does nothing for me. I think I liked Linsay before her makeover. Heather is better than both of them, but
she was just such a mess in NY! And I didn't like her picture at all. I don't care for Nikita in person that much but love her pictures. Meghan is
pretty good all around...I think she's our winner for sure.

The picture Maryam took with her friend was stunning (and easily the best of the five pictures we saw this week). I was so happy that they kept her (and
frankly, genuinely shocked) that I shed a tear. That said, I was glad that they didn't give her a photoshoot again - sure, we don't know what kind of
issues she's having, but it wouldn't've been fair to give her what essentially amounts to two free passes. I think the ironic thing is that, by
deciding NOT to give her a photoshoot, TPTB essentially gave her the ammunition to stay in the competition; it wasn't her photo that kept her in, but
rather the fact that she took the initiative to get the photo on her own time and money. If they'd given her the same photoshoot, the judges
wouldn't've had that clear drive and desire to justify keeping her.
I was really, really surprised to see Heather go so soon. I started to figure out from the editing this week that she wasn't going to win, but I wasn't expecting her to come in fifth. And hell, I thought Nikita's picture was worse anyways. Linsay's the only one left who I don't think should win. Yes, she's improved, but I still don't think she would ever, ever have a shot at being a top model. Not that this show is really about that anymore, but still...as much as she's growing on me and she's taking good pictures, she just doesn't scream 'model' to me. Plus, that "some people are born cool" thing kind of rubbed me the wrong way - though I'm sure she thought she came off as joking, I felt like she genuinely believed she was cool. |

I was hoping all of Heather's trips on her heels would lead and build up to next week's runway walk but no...
Damn them. And I guess they HAD to cut out any runway teach previously because how could they send them out on go-sees without any formal runway training? |

I thought I didn't like Maryam either, but yesterday she really seemed like a sweet girl when she talked about how much she missed the other girls. I think
most of her "personnality" issues come from her language barrier.
I also didn't like Linsay's "born to be cool" comment. My friend and I looked at each other, and even if she thought she was joking, you just don't go around saying stuff like that. Just even thinking it makes you look incredibly cocky. |

I agree that Maryam is a sweet girl but she's overrated by the judges her pics are always bland and boring .
Glad Lindsey had a good week she has potential but Meaghan has this competition in the bag (unless they pick one of the underdogs like Nikita or Maryam ) |

That was a pretty good episode... i thought Nikita was going home since Heather was such an early frontrunner. Check out the recap at Homorazzi.com here
Maryam's Gecko shot showed a lot of balls... she didn't have the whole team behind her at it looks great.

I really like how Jay made a point twice in the last judging to remind the judges that it isn't about who they 'like' personally, but their
viability as a model in the industry. It is almost like he is trying to make it as legit as possible, unlike Tyra and her gang.

Pretty girl, but I find her a little one note in her expression. I'd like to see her in more of a beauty shot instead of intese-eye-stare mode. Honestly can't ever see her doing anything remotely commercial.... |

I really couldn't see what was so awful about Nikita's photo this week, I thought her glam looked great. And I don't care if Heather wanted to go
home after the fact, it is incredibly bullshitty that Maryam got another free pass. Also, Linsay is quite the fugbeast. Those confessionals she was giving in
that wig were terrifying.

I think that was for the benefit of Mike Ruiz, who very much seems to have "favourites". And he's quite passionate about his favourites, too. Hooray for Nikita having a new psychological issue, fear of heights! Forget drinking games, play Bingo while watching using pages from the American Psychiatric Association's diagnostic manual as sheets. That episode totally changed how Nikita is viewed. She looks like a little girl when her hair is up. I think next week might be when Maryam's luck runs out. For some reason she doesn't strike me as someone with a good walk, and all the girls got critiqued on their walks on the go-sees so they've presumably improved. Also, Linsay is quite the fugbeast. Those confessionals she was giving in that wig were terrifying. She has bad looks/angles and good looks/angles. As long as she never gives the panel a bad look, she'll keep sliding along to the finals. I was hoping for Nikita versus Meghan in the finals, but I think that Nikita will self-destruct before then and we'll see Meghan against Linsay. |

Maryam should have been fired. Period. No passport? and she wants to be a working model? Does not compute. She got two free passes and that was one too many in
my view. Not only did she not do the photo shoot (as laid out by production) but she did not compete in the "go sees". That fact alone, should have
disqualified her.

Again, they kept her because of her having more viability than Heather (in their opinion). |
