Well if Driv likes Zelda, I just HAVE to play it now.

I see what my opinion means to you.

Oh Jit, don't cry!
I value your opinion just as much as Driv's!!! |

I really don't care about someone's opinion of me if they haven't played Zelda. I learned most life lessons through Zelda, including cutting the
bush to find a hole to enter and replenish my heart.

That sounds hawt.

You forgot that sometimes you need a shovel to find that heart under the bush, though.

I saw this. Thought it was awesome. Fuck the critics.
I kind of don't understand how Star Trek is rated so highly, but Transformers and Terminator are rated so poorly when ST is every bit as mindless as those two.

Star Trek was a lot better than this dreck, that's why.

But ST's storyline was pretty thin and shallow too.
And outside of the Spock and the lead character, the other characters weren't developed much either. What exactly did Uhara do, besides kiss all of her instructor, that is? I like all three movies btw, but T:S and Trans. get far too much hate. |

Thin and shallow is still better than needlessly puzzling and way too drawn out. I think Transformers 2 would have been helped out a lot by a shorter runtime
and more cohesive storyline. Also, Trek itself was just far more enjoyable regardless of what you thought about the storyline. The humor in it actually worked
too. Imagine that!

Different strokes, I guess. Hardly anything was "puzzling" about Transformer's plot. It was pretty cut-and-dry, like a cartoon's
storyline...which it is based off of.
The only thing I don't understand is...given how huge the first Transformer was, and how mixed the reviews were...why in the world would anyone who didn't enjoy the first one want to see its sequel just to bitch about how much it sucks? If I hated a movie, I would stay far, far away from any future installments. But that's just me. |

I enjoyed the first one for what it was - a popcorn flick. That is why I saw the second one. I still think the first one was a lot more enjoyable, and many
people I've spoken to have agreed.
Like you said, different strokes... |

I just got back from seeing this - I liked it, but I agree with crazy it might have been better if they cut the runtime down a little bit and made the story
more cohesive. It really jumped around waaaaaaaay too much.

You went to a Michael Bay film and expected a cohesive story?

I've watched this. This movie embodies chaos and incoherence at every single level. |

I liked this movie better than the first. It seemed to move pretty quickly. It was strictly a visual movie -- an excuse to watch giant robots beat up on each
other and Megan Fox to show off her boobs.

Went and saw this last night. The humour was terrible, the special effects were too damn busy at times, but it was still "popcorn worthy" like
someone up there said. Thumbs sideways.
Star Trek was WAY better. |
