And then in the final weeks of the campaign she told McCain's people to go to hell and started holding press conferences with the reporters following her campaign around. Press conferences where she came across as intelligent, informed and knowledgable about a wide breadth of issues; but oddly enough, the only place where we found out about those press conferences was one CBS reporter's blog. For some strange reason, none of the MSM wanted to show her as an intelligent, informed and knowledgable candidate. Gee I wonder why... well, not really. And what about that recent interview Wolf Blitzer did with her concerning the Alaska gas pipeline? Wolf told her that she would be contributing to a glut of natural gas by building it. I wonder what Wolf was saying to the people who wanted to develop more domestic oil drilling back in 1999? Crude was selling for about $22 per barrel, gas was selling for right around a dollar per gallon, and it looked like the oil glut would continue indefinitely. But here it is ten years later and we're learning to live with crude prices that flucuate from $35 to over $100 dollars per barrel and gas prices that have gone over four dollars per gallon. Had those domestic resources been developed ten years ago, they would just be starting to reach maximum production right about now. Maybe Wolf has a magic mirror that allows him to peer into the future and see where natural gas supplies and prices will be ten years from now... or maybe he's just a shortsighted ass who thinks he's a lot smarter than he really is. |

I'm about ready to retire early and suck money out of the system. I guess they won't tax my savings (yet), just my interest earnings, right?
Hyper-inflation may take a bite out of the savings which would be a kind of tax. I won't need to pull money out of 401ks and IRA plans for another 20+
years.
I wish Obama would hurry up and get all the goodies on the table. I need some spreading of other people's wealth into my pocket. The trick will be to minimize the interest earnings on paper and fall below the proper income threshold to qualify for free health care insurance, food stamps, and whatever else is out there. Is there a handbook for how to do this on Amazon? |

I think
"Well doesn't she have a smug little condescending giggle. I'm SO shocked." would've delivered the best irony. |

Obama 'we will have the most transparent' administration..
they he puts all these shady Czars in place (that have no checks and balances) andprescreened-preloaded loaded questions at his conferences with a teleprompter always at hand while he just quadrupled the national debt... He fires a Inspector General in a 5 minute conversation for investigating his campaign donor pal Mayor Kevin Johnson...after he (as a senator) helped author a bill that would require 30 days for IG's to get fired... and you all think 'no big deal'??? wake the fuck up |
