PS Chances are you've had it and worse if you've ever eaten a hot dog or sausage. :)

As much as some of it made me a bit queezy you really can't brush it all away as it's very different tastes. Tripe tastes different from heart which
tastes different from tongue etc. Just becuase you're culturally unfamiliar/unaccustomed to it doesn't make it bad. I've had tripe a bunch of times
and it's great.

I've had tripe numerous times: it comes in the Vietnamese soup I like to order.

You talking about Pho? cuz when I heard tripe I thought in LA Universal Studios, Pho would probably be popular. I was just wondering if the ingredients were
available at whole foods.

I remember watching Gordon Ramsey's The F Word and there was a segment on tripe and how many people were put off by even trying it. After they gave out
free samples and asked them what they thought, many claimed they liked it before they were told what it was. This reminds me of how many people who won't
eat deer meat because they think of Bambi. Never say never until you give it a try. It also helps to season and cook it properly. Some people don't belong
in the kitchen and they're the ones to blame for many of us who won't give certain dishes another chance because of a bad experience. I have a finicky
eater at home and you won't believe how many dishes I have changed his mind on. It's not the food! It's the cook!

Pho is kinda yesterday's news in LA, I think. Plus it would be hard to serve outside like that... it needs to be REALLY hot. Lawsuit waiting to happen.

I LOVE Pho personally, but it is a bit out of vogue these days. Of course the Shitty Walk is not exactly the destination spot for trendsetters.

Was watching a moment of last week's eppie tonight. Heard Frenchie say, "We don't have street food in France." Too lazy to see if someone
else has said this, but somebody needs to let the Crepe Vendors on every corner in Paris know they are not real.
