have you ever actually sat down and watched a Pixar movie? The first four minutes of "Up" deals with death and the rest of the movie is about dealing with it, "Ratatouille" was a foil for homosexuality, "The Incredibles" was about a mid life crisis. The only thing that makes Pixar movies aimed at kids is the Disney-controlled marketing behind it. If anything, Pixar movies are a billion times more sincere and artistic than any indulgently cast oscar bait flick the big studios crank out.

the real trash that's aimed at kids are the shit cranked out by all the other studios like Dreamworks or Sony.

and to the idiot who thinks Pixar rips off Ghibli movies, both studios make movies that could not be any more different from each other, for one thing Ghibli's an expert at creating strong female characters, something Pixar severely lacks and have made little to no effort in improving over.

oh i see where you're coming from, to be fair though, give em a chance, the acting in Pixar movies are all sorts of awesome same goes for any of the "good" animated features (and by good I mean Pixar, Ghibli and the renaissance and classic era Disney)
