But Jackson's health has been steadily declining over the past two decades. To blame this doctor is only identifying the tip of the iceberg. Why does there always have to be blame, anyway? Does ANYONE have any dignity anymore? In pursuing this doctor, all of MJ's dirty laundry will be aired for all the world to see. There is no wiggle room- it's illegal (aka NOT LEGAL) for a doctor to prescribe an addict opiates. As I said- there is one exception- well, actually two. One is suboxone, the other is methadone. BOTH of these meds are opiates approved for opiate addiction and you must be under a ongoing doctors care to get them- methadone patients must go to get daily doses since it's so dangerous. Suboxone patients must go once a month since it's not dangerous to a opiate addict to be on suboxone- it's abuse proof.

And the doctors that performed any plastic surgery on him after the 80s should all be brought up on charges. He was turned from a cute little boy (who probably would have grown into a pretty decent looking man) into some horror show that nobody wanted to look at. And those that did look at him looked at him with snickers and WTF looks! He saw the tiniest little flaws in himself as HUGE and he just kept doing shit to try and change whatever flaws he had. The guy was a nutbag and I think it's sad that nobody ever stepped in and really tried to stop him. Unfortunately, most of his family members are all fucked up too so they weren't going to do anything to help him.

Some people say Jackson bleached his entire skin so as to hide the patches and make his skin tone one consistent color. That explanation makes sense to me. Then again, having reconstructive surgery to make his facial features less African American makes you go hmmm. Unless you knew how he felt, it's not fair to say he did the surgery to appear "less black". He looked better after his surgery (which incidentally was done after his nose was broken in the 80's)- attractive people tend to have "symmetrical" faces. His nose was too big for his face and he was in the public eye. He looked great in the 80's- cute as can be. As for what happened later with his nose and his hair- I don't know- it's possible he had botched nose job or something else. But you have to admit he looked much better post-nose job in the 80's. On the cover of Thriller he looked dandy. =)

The fact that MJ was clearly anorexic and could very well have died from heart failure due to complications of that? Or to the suboxone deaths in Milwaukee? Sorry, but I have no link to the anorexia. But if you can't see that he suffered from it and you have no clue that anorexics die from heart attacks then perhaps you need to pick up a book sometime! (you said you're mom "was" white- I am so sorry if you have lost her, Zip. God Bless.) On My Mom it's hardly noticeable- she's pale and it's only on her hands- but it's "spreading" to her arms. She said she stays out of the sun now so she doesn't tan and it's less noticeable. I know she wants to try "spray tan" to cover it- but isn't sure what will happen. But she does the same thing- she covers it up with long sleeves. On the other hand, my niece's was really bad- she is very dark skinned (African American) and she had really big white patches all around her eyes (as big as "sunglasses-on" patches). As a little girl people would stare and she was teased outside of her house. In the family, we didn't pay any attention or ever comment on it. Her Mom gave her the sweet name "Cherish." Now she's a teen and she buys really expensive make up to try and cover it up- but she is so dark it's almost impossible. She's beautiful- but I know it pains her to have it.

My daughter is a Type 1 diabetic, diagnosed at 8 years old and now 25, and I've only run into 1 Dr who could out-diagnose me on DKA (diabetic ketoacidosis). Everyone educates themselves regardless of their situation. Love your posts on BB.

Every time I see pictures of him as a little kid I just think about how damn cute he was. If he felt the need to get plastic surgery, that's his issue but I wish he would have stopped after Thriller. He actually looked the best in his Off the Wall days.
