Dictatorship wrote:Then why did the last U2 album that came out in 2004 sell 3 million albums in the U.S. alone? That is within the decade. Prince had an album out in 2004 that went 2x platinum in the U.S. as well. We are talking ALBUM sales not concerts, etc. Those artists don't get a free pass. They are LEGENDS. People should be buying their CD's. Those kind of artists shouldn't need any promo to sell.
These artists' whose heydays were 10+ years ago of course have mediocre sales. They aren't played on the radio and pretty much don't get any promo. They make their money through insane concert sales, which Yelly can't do.
How about the All-American Rejects? "Gives You Hell" is bigger than any Kelly song this year and their album hasn't even gone Gold. Their last album in 2005 sold over 2 million albums in the U.S. Numbers don't lie. Less people are buying albums.

Notice (to the non retards) that Yelly's arms have been flabbed up in the fake
photo and given a fatter face. EPIC FAIL SHYSTER. Keep chopping pics of the most successful idol in the world. Your bitterness and sour grapes is really
starting to show. Plus your obsession with Greeneyes is getting ridiculous, methinks you wanna hook up with her.
