Who was Weber arguing with at the hotel? Good grief, they pull him from that booth for that? Not that I like any of the TNT coverage at all. If they call this race, rack up another one for the all star race next year (or has lagano already won a cup race? can't remember) |

I was pretty well away all weekend, so I'm just getting caught up on all the Loudon festivities.
Can TNT keep Ralph Sheheen in the booth permanently please? Watching some clips, I really liked what I heard. As opposed to Weber who always sounds like the professor at university that always puts you to sleep. Why couldn't Weber have blown up in time for next week's race? He can't call a Daytona race to save his life.

smartguy, you got your wish and then some. TNT only has two races left and Weber's suspended for both of them. He must have done something pretty
despicable.
Methfield got an injunction so he could have raced this weekend, but per Jayski he isn't entered and no one else would let him in their cars. Yes, I said Methfield. Apparently he did indeed have meth in his system. Supposedly he has had to lay off race team employees and sell personal assets. Hey, couldn't he just make some meth and sell it for a few dollars?

Race day bump! Qualifying was rained out so Tony starts on the pole again. Who will watch the race and who will be at the local fireworks displays instead?
(Canookian fans here, I know your fireworks were Wednesday, so I know what you'll do if the race is televised there.) No-brainer here... our big fireworks
were last night and today the forecast calls for thundershowers and a high of 69. (Yes! Maybe the assholes who shoot fireworks at the corner will get rained
on! Our neighborhood is full of firecracker-shooting cretins.)

Oh, no fireworks here. The big FREEDOM FESTIVAL fireworks between Detroit and Windsor happened JUNE 24th. Not July 1st, when it would make more sense. The rest of the July 4th fireworks (or thereabouts) are just local community stuff not worth bothering with. |
