It is really interesting to me that this show has done such a good job of convincing people that contemporary dancers do not know shit about hip hop. Almost ALL of the contemporary dancers I know have AT LEAST taken hip hop classes. Most dance HH as well as Contempo and often Jazz. PArt of the reason contemp dancers do so well on this show is that they most often study outside their genre. I would be willing to put money down that Brandon has studied Hip Hop, likely for quite some time.

One of the classes Brandon taught at Dance Empire in Miami was hip hop.

Oh wow. Thanks for the info because I did not know that. Brandon is really impressing me with a lot of things he does and it's simply because he has the physicality and also able to be versatile in many genres. He's an all round amazing dancer. Puts in perspective the shit he was getting from Mia and Lil C in Vegas.
