Theo's song Lazy Lovers continues to move up the charts. This week's Mediabase chart is out, and it has now moved into the #9 spot with increased airplay over last week.

In the meantime, Theo had himself a blast at the MMVAs.

Miki, that WAS a new do. He had it done just before the MMVAs, or so he posted on Twitter. It has obviously been cut and coloured.

Not even close! Even if I remove my glasses, they still don't have a resemblance (except they both become blurry).

Now on to the news I came to post...

I just heard Theo's song Lazy Lovers being played on 90 FM Lite Hits!!!

Okay, so that doesn't sound like news, I know, but what I didn't mention above is that 90 FM Lite Hits is a radio station in Blumenau, Brazil - South America! The DJ was speaking Portuguese, so I don't know what he said when the song ended, but the station has been playing the song for a couple of weeks at least. I happened to find the site by coming across a cached page from just under 2 weeks ago that had Lazy Lovers listed under "Top Hits". I went to check out the site and clicked on the listen live link, and it just happened that a song by U2 was just ending...and Lazy Lovers started. I couldn't have timed it more perfectly!

The Carly Rae Jepsen fans might be interested in knowing that the station is also playing "Bucket".

It's kind of cool to hear them being played in South America.

I could understand Melissa, Eva and Brian selling albums / getting airplay in China, Peru and Portgual as they have ties to those countries (which they should totally exploit btw) but the others?? So should Theo also be marking in China where he has many family members living?� Holland due to his large Dutch family?� Heck, he can take India as well since he lived there several months while volunteering in the orphanage.

Of course I'm kidding, but who knows why songs catch on in any particular market.� I've actually heard Lazy Lovers on that Brazilian station (which seems to play English music) three days in a row now, so they are giving it fairly regular airplay.

Dose.ca has posted an interview with Theo at the MMVAs where Theo is again showing his sense of humour.
