19. Tina and Ethan
![]()
Memorable Quote: "This experience has been different for me because I went in on an equal playing ground the first time. I kinda expected it... but it doesn't make it any easier." -Tina In terms of the first seven seasons, Tina and Ethan were without a doubt the two most likable winners when All Stars hit. I'd make a case that the two of them are still the most likable, but I don't want to get in another argument about why Tom was a bully. Anyways, we have the two most likable winners of all time sitting on the same tribe, but we also have a psycho bitch trying to target all the winners. Fortunately, this forced the two of them to work together on Saboga. While Tina and Ethan weren't even my favorite pair on their tribe, I was pretty happy. Unfortunately, Saboga lost the first challenge, and Jerri/Jenna and Tina/Ethan both fought to get Rudy/Rupert on their side. Had Rudy and Rupert sided with Tina and Ethan, the foursome might have very well been the single best alliance of all time, but Jenna Lewis had convinced them that all winners were evil. Tina was sent packing in a 4-2 vote. Nice guy Ethan voted with her even though she told him not to, something that I've always respected about him. While I was disappointed Tina left early, it wasn't all bad because Ethan started to come out of his shell. While he was always the nice guy with curly hair in Africa, he began to mock Jenna quite a bit. Since I hated the way Jenna was playing the game, I liked Ethan even more. I know I've talked about how much I hated Jenna during All Stars in her write up with Jerri and many other times, but I will say it once more. Fuck you, Jenna Lewis. First Ramona, then Tina. Not cool at all. |

I hated Tina but <3ed Ethan. I think this alliance is too high though cause they accomplished nothing but each to their own.

The winner's alliance that wasn't meant to be.
They should have just put all the winners on the same tribe. JLew seething hatred. |

18. Casaya 6 (Shane, Courtney, Danielle, Aras, Cirie, Bruce)
Casaya was the definition of a clusterfuck. One of, if not the, most dysfunctional alliance/tribe of all time. After the tribal swap, an early majority alliance within the tribe was made between Shane, Courtney, Danielle, and Aras. The only problem
was that they all hated each other. To quote the great Bob Dawg, Courtney is "probably one of the two most annoying people in the history of the
world." Danielle always made sure her opinions were heard. Aras was a calm leader who started to lose it because of his allies, and Shane got in arguments
with every single one of them.
Casaya lost the very first challenge after the swap, and Shane was missing cigarettes and his son. He wanted to leave. Then, he wanted to
stay, and he told Cirie and Melinda that they were the next two to leave. Cirie and Melinda both cried, and Melinda left. Casaya picked up Bruce as a new
leader, but the alliance of four was technically still in control. They won the next couple of challenges, yet Casaya still dominated the air time. They argued
and fought while Cirie stood to the side just laughing and waiting for the implosion to begin. When they finally lost again, the alliance didn't even stick
together because connections were all over the place. The main being that Aras was close with Bobby, and Danielle was close with Bruce and hated Bobby. Also,
Bruce wasn't voting for Bobby, and Shane randomly voted for Aras. Bobby left in a 3-2-1-1 vote, yet the group somehow still clung together at the merge to
Pagong La Mina. The Pagonging didn't happen before Shane tried to pull himself out of the foursome, as right before the merge, he asked Danielle to take
his son's name out of the deal, so he could back out of the group.
Honestly, I have no clue how the group managed to stay strong until they had to vote off one of their own (due to Terry's immunity
streak), but they did. The main alliance faultered big time as Cirie and Bruce both worked their way into the mix. Danielle lost a huge ally when Bruce was
MedEvaced at the final 7, and Aras and Cirie teamed up to try to make the end together. We all know what happened at the final 6 with the 3-2-1 vote as Cirie,
Danielle, and Aras knocked out Courtney, and the entertaining group continued to...well, entertain. Everyone except the winner, of course.
Aras was boring as hell, but the group needed someone to try to make everyone else sane. I guess. Danielle is incredibly underrated, and she was awesome no matter who says differently. Cirie was Cirie. There's nothing more to say about her (although I liked Danielle more during EI).Shane was a huge reason why Casaya was the clusterfuck we know of today. Even if he was acting, I'm really glad they casted him. Courtney was comedy gold, too. I didn't like her too much, but I hope she is doing well in her shitty apartment. Bruce did not disappoint as the first Asian since Daniel Lue. Incredibly likable when he was on air. Sucked to see him leave that way. While I like almost all of the characters individually, I can't rank them any higher, though. I was mostly rooting for them because I
despised Terry. It wasn't because I liked Casaya although they were great. Great enough to be number 18 on this list.

Meh, Saboga was the weakest tribe by far. They had the weakest female in the cast and the weakest male in the cast, even if they ditched Rudy I'm not sure
if they would win again. Mogo Mogo was basically a tribe filled with immunity whores (bar Shii Ann) while Chapera didn't have any weak players physically
except Rob C.
CASAYA <333 Major clusterfuck love <333 wish it was higher though. |

If Jerri hadn't held grudges? How about if Tina wasn't a self-righteous slutface? Mmhmm. It's Tina's own fault for being a holier-than-thou
