Add the #1's, grammy and more vocalist awards and it did her quite fine. Oh and the EOTY didn't hurt or Opry induction and shit I can't list all she achieved in the last 18 months much less her career Carries still got it as a 80 week old CD is outselling yellys in the US and Carries not performing or doing interviews but we know who is and it's not helping or IF it's helping what would her sales be with no push behind it, a hundred a week ?

It doesn't matter if you've had successful albums in the past, if your last two IN A ROW struggled that is who you are. Kelly's last two albums didn't sell anywhere near 1 million copies, this one is still going but it won't either. Her drop off is mind-boggling, and the thing is you can't blame it on "lack of promotion" this woman has been push and pimp so damn hard and it just isn't working. I'd rather be an under performing artist because of lack of support from the label, then be an under performing artist simply because people have lost interest. This is the case with Kelly, people have simply lost interest in her and have moved on to lady gaga and katy perry. She stole avrils sound to become successful with breakaway, she tried to still katy perry (this time) and mix it up with some avril but it isn't working. Now she's going the beyonce route. She needs to give it up....really. Try again hon.....just be happy your stealing the sound of an artist worked one time for you but you can't build a solid career on being someone else. The public might be slow but eventually they do catch on.
