I loved every single track on Evanescence's Fallen, sure some skewed towards goth a little but still they were awesome. Ben's songs were fucking awesome. The Open Door had like... Two good songs and another song I liked and the rest were pretty shitty imo, too goth rock/goth metal for me. Sucked to see Evanescence really crash and burn out. Carly <333 too. She was my favo during S7 and it seems like she really struck gold here.

Apparently the e-mail is time sensitive, so even if they "accept" me, I might miss out on the track if I'm not around at the wrong time. I really thought making the track entirely free to everyone would have been the way to go - it just seems odd that if they are going to do something like this, they do it this way. Sure, the song will probably be ciruclating by tomorrow, but buzz on the day of the band's premiere seems like it would have fit nicely.

I wasn't very supportive of her on Idol but she's got a great voice and an endearing insecure persona and lacks that entitled attitude that many of the plants came and left with.

Was also not "time sensitive" as the website claimed it would be. Still think it is just a good song, but am happy for Carly - I'm pumped for what is to come.
