I am willing to put up $$ that 19E reps spoke to all the tour participants and told them to play nicely in the press after Gokeygate caused Gokeyisadouche
became the number 1 trend and search item on Twitter and no. 1 search on Google and MTV started releasing stories about what Danny & his fat relatives did
to Adam and published their gay bashing comments.
Think about it: 19E knows it can't release the news that Danny has signed with the Nashville label when Danny being a douche is the number one subject on twitter and google. The press will read it as: 19E and Nashville sign homophobic douche. They need this controversy to die. They know Gokey has a large, loyal (retarded fundamentalist) fanbase and they want to milk it. But he is also the most widely mocked and ridiculed 3rd place finisher and an accused homophobe. 19E needs this to die down. I doubt it will. Many hate Gokey irrespective of the shit he and his family have pulled on Adam. |

And agree with river. Dude has no personality whatsoever. The other three are in the studio now. He isn't. That says it all. Danny just isn't worth it, nor is he worth trying to overcome the bad press and the attitude that tons of people seem to have about him already. I can't remember one idol who has stirred up so much hate so early on. Why they would sign this douche is beyond me, I dont think its worth it. So, douchehate lives. Until he apologizes and owns up to pimping his wifes death, stops touching the minor, apologizes for his homophobic behavior, I'll dislike him. Hes done all of this to himself, brought it all upon himself. He will just have to deal with it I suppose, he is his own worst enemy. |
