I was so disappointed. The skit wasn't that funny. They should've just let her get all theatrical about her win, crying and all that and then go off
and sing before they chased her off the stage.
Not Ryan's "we really don't have time" crap. Normund's skit was much more epic. Boo... awesome seeing her, but I expected more. |

I seriously hyperventilated when I saw Tatiana appear on the screen!
I wish she got a full-on performance, but I'm glad that she got one last hurrah
and the little skit where she dodged security was funny. <3

I'm under no foolish illusions that we'll ever see her again, but it would be totally f*cking amazing if she did, somehow, actually get a record deal
and a real singing career out of all this. We are WAY overdue for a semifinalist to make it big, and she's about as good as any of them. Unfortunately,
it's far more likely that if she doesn't disappear completely it'll be because she's made BAD headlines (arrested for drug use or for trying to
murder Simon) or because she's on some other reality show that doesn't involve singing (cf Nikki in Fear factor).
The sad reality is that NO semifinalists have done very well. Only 2 have ever released CDs (Celena Batchelor and Ayla Brown) and probably only a few others sing even semi-professionally for very long once they go home. Alexis Lopez, who made it to the Wildcard in season 1 and deserved to go further, got into the local Florida news when the Burger King she was working at got robbed (she wasn't hurt). That's what's waiting for Tatiana. |

The sad reality is that NO semifinalists have done very well. There's some that did ok in non-singing roles. Matthew Metzger was on One Life to Live for a few years! Ashley Hartman was on the O.C. (And has a pretty good career as a hostess for CBS networks) Not to mention, this contestant, who became a CIRCUS STAR!

sadly., i have to agree with you. i think idol really missed it with this girl. the 13 they picked over her IMO were mostly crap and they could have gotten
even better ratings with her in the competition. tatianna could have easily been the last female left probably with allison and gotten her record contract, as
despite all her antics which i find amusing/most people hate...the bottom line is she has a really good voice. i would buy her album the day it comes out.
to be fair though she is not without blame. singing the same song numerous times really caused the judges to jump ship on her. i still to this day cant understand why she didnt sing something else. it has to be bad advice as she has the capability to sing anything she wants. i hope some record producer gives her a chance but at this point i think tatianna just wants to be famous anyway she can and if it doesnt pan out in music she will try something else. to bad actually as i fell in love iwth her voice as it appears others in this thread did as well. she has the looks and the voice to have done quite well |
