My Koporno love is dying, but I still do feel bad he has to dance with that awful blow-up doll next week. P.S. Did somebody spike my Slurpee, or did they seriously have some middle aged Indian woman come out and jog in place for 7 minutes. That was the most ridiculously bizarre thing I've ever seen in my life.

One thing about SYTYCD is that the wardrobe department SUCKS! And they say they have the most talented top 20 this year but many of them are getting royally screwed by bad choreography and bad music. |

Seriously - they say that every year. Also the choreographers wage war against each other all the while screwing the dancers into elimination. The seasons all run together seeming the exact same just different dancer names. I don't see these dancers making top 10 (Randi, Jeanine, Karla, Jason, Jonathan, and Vitolio) - and not because they are bad dancers but because that top ten is going to have all the famous characters. JMO.

Ashley was done in by taking too long to get in her solo. It reminded me of when Lauren spent most of her time trying to take off her $%$@+!. Another thing
that may have hurt Ashley is compared to Kayla and Caitlin, she didn't have a lot of air time prior to the comp, and the fact that the judges, especially
Nigel have a hard-on for the other two. If I were judging by their body of work, I would rank Ashley ahead of Caitlin. Ashley did well in both of her routines
whereas Caitlin struggled in her hip-hop. To be honest, I would've loved it if they sent Kayla home, but I knew that wasn't going to happen.
As for the guys, as soon as the bottom three was announced, I knew they were going to send Maks home, although I would've preferred if they got rid of Kupono instead. Maks was always getting brushed off while they praised Kayla to the high heavens, although he wasn't anywhere near as bad as they thought. Now that leaves Jonathan as the only male ballroom "specialist" left. Yay. From the seasons I've watched, it looks like the male ballroom dancers seem to constantly get the shaft on the show. They weren't very appreciative of Pasha, they got rid of Jamie in the first week last year, and now they dump Maks the first chance they get. Did anyone see Brandon in Mia's routine? Nice to know that she's the consummate professional and doesn't let her personal feelings get in her way. Finally, Cat looked all kinds of hot in that white pantssuit. |

I thought the lady from India was amazing. She kept perfect rhythm to the music & it wasn't just foot stomping, her hand & arm movement was the
highlight. She became the music. It was like a combination of hula & flamenco.

matched abilities.
Kayla's solo was not strong, but her two performances have been incredibly strong. Caitlin was weak in the latter half of the bollywood routine, and weak throughout hip hop, but nailed her solo. Ashley nailed her two performances but was the weakest solo. And it unfortunately was the right choice. I was hoping Caitlin about Evan: Does he identify as str8t? Dare ANYONE be out on this show, given Nigels' rampant homophobia?I call straight. His love of fixing cars takes him off the gay map. Only know of 2 gay mechanics and they are not dancers. |
