Or he could just attach all those sample Google checks to his garage floor with scotch tape.

No it's nothing special, just a book on cooking. I have lots of other books about different things but I want to make sure the flooring will support them
first then I'll bring the other 3 down along with my personal papers. I'm a do it youself kind of guy.

You don't want to crowd that floor with your library.
You should leave it open for some special projects....like painting. |

I saw in the other garage thread you want to put tan shingles on your garage. I would like to put shingles on mine. How did you do yours?

I hired a guy named "Dione" to shingle my roof.
He and his two monkeys did it......one of the monkeys fell though my roof. (Well....one of his legs did anyway.) |

mine is named "steve-o", because he has a long last name that is hard to pronounce. i don't think he has a clue about the other one.

What's wrong with plain old concrete? Are you people anti-concretists?

They are concretins.

No, but concrete is dusty if left untreated. Also, it is very susceptible to staining from almost anything. With the epoxy caoting it is so easy to clean up. I
put the epoxy 4" up the walls to seal the floor completely and that made it hose worthy too. No chance of damaging the sheetrock.

i painted my carport concrete floor with just primer and latex concrete floor paint - fancy custom color (Shelbourne Buff) to turn it into more of a porch
effect than carport (i don't park in it except to wash the car). i do drive over it all the time though; it's a tandem set up with the carport in front
of the garage. it's held up reasonably well, i expected it would need a new coat every year to stay perfect and that's about right - just a couple very
small spots of lifted paint.
i'm going to do the same with the garage floor later with just grey latex floor paint...i doubt my tires are that hot. |

I did the epoxy paint on the garage floor, it's really not that hard. The acid etching was a little smelly, but other than that it was easy.
