Showtime has renewed Nurse Jackie for Season 2.
That was fast. I guess ratings for episode 1 must have been pretty good. |

Monday's premiere of the Edie Falco medical dramedy nabbed 1 million viewers, the cable network's highest-rated premiere audience ever. In addition, 350,000 people watched the premiere's encore presentation - for a total of 1.35 million same-day viewers. Showtime has ordered up 12 new episodes, but has yet to schedule an air date for them. |

I've only seen the first Ep, and this first Ep has been out there since forever. But Showtime renews "Nurse Jackie" for a second season based on
one Ep and its tiny rating? (1M viewers?)
Wow. For all of the shows I have known and loved before. . I weep. |

Finally watched the first episode.
It was entertaining and all, but are we supposed to like her????????????? I don't like her. She's beyond selfish (cheating on her husband and her kids for access to drugs) and who does she think she is that she gets to decide who is a donor and who isn't? I seriously do not like her. :: shrugs :: |

I am not. I know I shouldn't care but the thought of a stranger getting my body parts weirds me out. I would have no problems giving a kidney to a family member or to a friend though. |

I'm a donor. If something happened to me, I'd hate to waste these cool body parts I worked so hard to take care of.
I kind of agree that she's not that likable... but neither is Janice Dickinson and she's a real person (kind of). :) Her TV husband Tony Soprano was similar, except he was regularly whacking people, and yet he was still likable in some ways. |

And I disagree. I think she's pretty likable. She's not nearly the asshole that House is. |
