Tres Gay wrote: that sucks man. It is good that Bandit was meant to be with you as obviously you had created an unconditional love with Bandit...and at the end of the day, that is all we really have. I still miss my beloved cat POPS terribly and your story brought back my own experience in dealing with that waiting room/vet time. What a miserable time and space...waiting, looking at your beloved family member knowing that the pet carrier will be empty and that warm, loving and awesome face that has been looking at you for 14 years will no longer be there. I really do feel sad for you, brother. RIP Bandit. |

This is sad - the rescue group I work with picked up 10 dogs in the dakotas and another group of 8 in other states. Of the 10 in the dakotas, five were
puppies and they were living in a house with floors covered with urine and feces:
- Dana has a mouth abscess - Kane has an eye infection - Boy puppy is incredibly underweight. - Girl puppy is missing part of an ear. I don't know how people can live like that: |

Not to mention that they're clearly Evil Demon Dogs. Holy fuck.

I'm going to have nightmares about those dogs.

Aww, I wonder if they came from the same place my dog did. My mom got Cleo from a friend of her's who was hunting in one of the Dakotas. He told her that
the person who had the puppies was going to drown them because they weren't pure CBRs, so he took Cleo and her brothers and sisters back with him and found
homes for them.

They're safe now - the pups are still in isolation at the shelter until they're stronger and the adults are in foster homes.

these were purebreds - Chesapeake Bay Retrievers - I think they're the only retriever that was originally American bred and stayed American bred -
Labradors were initially from Labrador, but the final developments of the breed occured in England. They're also the state dog of Maryland.

Sweet Jesus @ that house. Fucking NASTY.
Okay. So far, Tristan knows just the basic commands (sit, speak, etc.). I want to teach him how to do this: |
